“Wang Ke, are you really going to search for the Divine Dragon Token up north?” Can you not go? I’ve heard about it from the others; you’re seeking your own death!” the Sacred Child asked, looking at Wang Ke with worried eyes.

“Uhh? Sacred Child, you know about this already?” Wang Ke was surprised.

“Of course. Not just me; the entire Divine Dragon Island knows about it!” the Sacred Child replied.

Wang Ke became well acquainted with the Sacred Child in the past few days. The kid was indeed short-tempered, but he was only so because others had spoiled him rotten! He would entrust you with all of his secrets once you were in his good books.

The child’s trust for Wang Ke was only second to that of the Demon Sovereign after Wang Ke saved him that day. The Sacred Child would even call Wang Ke ‘big brother’ if not for the former being much older.

“Everyone on the island knows about it already?” Wang Ke asked in astonishment.

“Yeah. Parlor Lord Zhu doesn't allow me to leave the palace, but I’ve heard about it from the chatter of passersby. They said they were all afraid to go to the snake den in the north. Too many Golden Core Stage disciples have gone to search for the Divine Dragon Token, but they all ended up in the Snake King’s stomach,” the Sacred Child said with concern.

“Don’t worry. I’m pretty much safe!” Wang Ke smiled and comforted the Sacred Child.

“It’s true!” The Sacred Child insisted anxiously, “They said that the snake den and all of its surrounding waters are part of the Snake King’s territory. There are countless snakes there, and all of them are deadly! It’s too dangerous for you to go like this!”

“Have you forgotten? I’m not afraid of the snakes’ venom. Rest assured! I’ve also spent some time with people experienced in handling snakes. It’ll be fine!” Wang Ke replied with a smile.

He had nothing to fear. After all, he was only trying to escape the island, not to find the Divine Dragon Token.

It's been one and a half years since I started IGK, and I think it's safe to say now that it's not doing well.

After some careful thought and discussion with my wife, I have come to the decision to stop working on IGK and focus on my other commitments, e.g., my studies and other part time works.
