Indestructible God King Chapter 179.1 Pretending to be the Demon Sovereign (1/2)

North of Divine Dragon Island, in the vicinity of the snake den!

Although the Snake King had taken an army of snakes to rob his neighbors, he still reserved some of his subordinates to guard his own place.

"Stay sharp! The Snake King just left, and you’re already slacking off! What if someone comes to rob us?" a snake general warned.

"Kraakaka!" The snakes bared their fangs, as if saying that whoever dared would die.

"Also, have any of the guards making rounds seen Wang Ke? Don't you know? Our king hates Wang Ke the most right now! Since the Demon Sovereign is gone, if not dead, our King no longer needs to suppress his anger. He wants to get rid of Wang Ke as soon as possible!" the snake general added.

"Kraakaka!" The swarm of snakes nodded.

A sentry hissed in alarm just then.

"Hmm?" The snake generals turned their heads. They saw a small boat that was quickly moving towards them amidst the fog.

"They must be sick of living. How dare they intrude the snake den! Take them down!" one of the generals commanded with a stare.

"Don't move!" said another snake official, all of a sudden. All the snakes were stunned and lost because of the conflicting commands.

Meanwhile, the small boat was already close by. It was an ice-carved vessel that carried two people.

The first thing they noticed was the black-robed figure wearing a demonic mask.

That appearance, that figure, and the clothes?

In this world, only he can make the Snake King's obey.

"Demon... Demon Sovereign?" a snake general cried out.

"Snake general, it's Wang Ke! The one rowing the boat is Wang Ke!" a snake underling reported. And then, they saw the infamous scammer as he stopped rowing the boat and walked to stand in front of the Demon Sovereign.

"Boss! We’ve arrived at the snake den. This is the place!" Wang Ke bowed and pointed to the snake abode.

"Wang Ke? You really didn't die! And you still dare to come here?" The snake generals showed a sinister look, but none of them did any reckless moves in the presence of the Demon Sovereign.

Novel Notes

Dear IGK readers,

It's been one and a half years since I started IGK, and I think it's safe to say now that it's not doing well.

After some careful thought and discussion with my wife, I have come to the decision to stop working on IGK and focus on my other commitments, e.g., my studies and other part time works.

The last chapter I will publish will be 192.2.

Thank you for your supports thus far, especially my dear patrons! Sorry to disappoint those who love this story very much. I've really been enjoying it so far and I do feel reluctant to let it go, but circumstance calls for it.
