Indestructible God King Chapter 149.1 It’s Good to Be Angry! (1/2)

Zi Bufan left the Royal Palace with her subordinates; they arrived at another palace shortly after.

Zi Bufan’s men greeted her with a courteous bow.

“Parlor Lord, are you really going to leave Master Zi alone?” one of her men asked, feeling worried.

“Wang Ke is right. If he’s incapable and becomes an emperor, he will become like Zhu Yan. That would be an even more irresponsible act toward our ancestors. And, I already promised Zhu Hongyi… Am I supposed to renege on my promise?” Zi Bufan said.

“Understood! Our plans against Wang Ke will be called off!” another subordinate said.

“Parlor Lord, why did you leave Zhu Yan with Parlor Lord Zhu? What if he doesn't go to the Dragon Gate Assembly?” one of the demons asked worriedly.

“Humph. Do I need you to teach me what to do? My only concern is extracting the draconic ley line! I’m not responsible for Zhu Yan’s welfare and transport; I did my part, and that’s enough. How can I not give Zhu Hongyi face?” Zi Bufan said, staring at her subordinate.

“Understood!” that demon relented, no longer daring to talk about the matter.

“Tong An'an, speak. What happened to you?” Zi Bufan glared at Tong An'an, who was kneeling on the floor.

The latter looked up in awkwardness, at a loss for words.

“I’m asking you. How were you captured by Wang Ke? And where did you go after you left God Wang Tower? Why didn’t you come straight to see me and report?” said Zi Bufan.

“Stop your sniveling; I didn’t rescue you so you could cry in front of me. Where are my Lightning Whips? Do you know how much harder it was for me to capture the draconic ley line without them? Hand them over right now!” Zi Bufan demanded.

Tong An'an’s heart ached.

Novel Notes

Dear IGK readers,

It's been one and a half years since I started IGK, and I think it's safe to say now that it's not doing well.

After some careful thought and discussion with my wife, I have come to the decision to stop working on IGK and focus on my other commitments, e.g., my studies and other part time works.

The last chapter I will publish will be 192.2.

Thank you for your supports thus far, especially my dear patrons! Sorry to disappoint those who love this story very much. I've really been enjoying it so far and I do feel reluctant to let it go, but circumstance calls for it.
