AWT - Chapter 378.2 - Mother To Mother

“Mistress of the Long Family! Wife of Long Huangdi and mother of he who would bring these Heavens down low!”

When Long Ruo heard this, she heard something in Long Nuhuang’s voice no one else could hear.

She immediately stood up and this placed every person here on high alert!

Something in the depths of them told them that even though this woman could make their blood run hot, she was a destroyer of them if she so willed it.

“Disperse!” She hissed at the experts who stood between her and Long Nuhuang.

Their knees trembled, and their weapons shook in their hands.

Long Ruo released no aura, but she didn’t need to. Her very presence commanded such a reaction from others.

Yet, despite all this, the experts held their positions all the same. Her eyes narrowed upon seeing this, and she was about to take action when suddenly a voice came from behind them.

“Let her through.” Long Nuhuang’s voice suffered abuse and was hoarse for it, but it brooked no argument. She was the leader of the family now and her word was law.

“Lady Nuhuang, please be careful!” They said as they parted to give Long Ruo passage.

She took slow measured steps towards Long Nuhuang and when she saw Long Huangdi beside her, she sneered.

“Scram!”

“Screw you!” he yelled back!

Boom!

An eruption of her aura sent him flying back even though Long Nuhuang remained unmoved on the ground. It was obvious at a glance that she had complete control of her power.

Bam!

Long Huangdi smashed into the far end of the cave wall with a resounding crash!

“You—!” Long Nuhuang cursed herself at her powerlessness. She couldn’t move to stand up to this woman.

Long Nuhuang’s draconic eyes slid to Long Nuhuang, and she took out a pouch of something and spilt it all over her.

“Aaaaahh!”

A bloodcurdling scream rang out that caused every member of the Long family to become red-eyed with rage.

“Long Nuhuang!” A roar of supreme fury rang out and a figure burst from the hole he created in the wall as she shot after Long Ruo.

“Get away from her!” he brandished his Heavenly Asunder Hal
