TOOLATE - Book 06 Chapter 064.1: Chen Heng Already Started a Killing Spree! Part 1

“Okay, you need to be careful on your own. If you happen to encounter an ambush or unforeseen circumstances, we won’t be able to support you; we’re too far away. If you make a mistake, it might be game over.”

“Don’t worry. I’m heading to the research facility now. I’m outside the circle, and the circle will be closing in soon, so I need to change my location. Let’s meet up in the prison after I get there, and we’ll move toward the center of the circle together.”

After ending the communication, Chen Heng climbed out of the window and searched for the vehicle hidden by the two ambushers.

Chen Heng drove to the outskirts of M City. However, he then stopped the vehicle and decided to proceed on foot. He moved from house to house, trying not to expose himself in the open, determined not to be ambushed again. This time, he didn’t have a level 3 helmet because it had already been shattered.

If he got headshot by a Kar98k or an M24 while wearing a level 2 helmet, he would be done for.

Chen Heng found a higher vantage point extending below M City and set up his 8x scope on the M24 to look for isolated targets. He had a feeling that the two teams that parachuted into M City hadn’t been eliminated yet.

After patiently waiting for a few minutes and hearing no gunshots or vehicle sounds, Chen Heng was about to descend when gunfire suddenly rang out, startling him.

It started with a single shot, followed by two more from different directions. Chen Heng checked the gunshot markers on the map; at least three people were in a firefight. Based on their positions, it seemed like two were ganging up on one.

The team of two was to the north of Chen Heng, and the lone individual was to the northeast. How can this do? How can they gang up on one person like this? Chen Heng decided to intervene.

Hence, Chen Heng adjusted his scope toward the northeast and carefully scanned for targets based on the locations of the gunshots. Soon, he pinpointed the target’s position, but the target was hiding behind a building, making it impossible to see
