Chen Kai and Song Yan were engrossed in their conversation.

Lu Jingyan continued to admire the superior scum on the other end for a while more before taking out her phone.

She was in a bad spot that didn't have any network connection.

Lu Jingyan saw a few unread Wechat messages and was afraid to miss something urgent. She glanced back up and saw the man at the other end again.

The row of people were full of laughter and conversation, but the scum was the only one using his phone.

He seemed to be surfing the net which meant that his network was doing well.

Lu Jingyan reached out and tapped the wine glass in front of him, "Hey, sorry to disturb."

The scum hesitated slightly before lifting his head.

His gaze was frosty but very pretty.

Lu Jingyan stared mesmerized for two seconds, "Mmh, I can't connect to the internet, could you share the password for your hotspot?"

The jerk stared into her eyes for a while and replied, "Your birthday."

His voice was soft but very clear.

It was exceptionally enthralling in the noisy bar.

Without giving her any more attention, he lowered his head and continued to use his phone.

Your birthday.

Lu Jinyan frowned.

How does he know my birthday?

Unless this superior scum…

Before she could finish her thought, her phone rang.

She stopped typing the digits for her birthday and answered the call.

It was a call from her uncle, Lu Hongcheng. There was an urgent matter she needed to attend to immediately.

She hung up, packed her things and glanced around the bar. Unable to locate Song Xian, she walked towards Chen Kai and told him the matter before leaving hurriedly.

After taking two steps, she backed up and asked Chen Kai, "Chen Kai, what's your cousin's name?"

"Ah?" Chen Kai was clearly caught off guard.

Lu Jingyan frowned in displeasure, repeating her question, "What's your cousin's name?"

"Oh, you're talking about my brother. He's Sheng Xian."

The phone in Lu Jingyan's hand rang again.

Her uncle had called to chase her.

Without another word, she turned and left.
