After finishing her coffee, Xing Mo said goodbye to the proprietress and left the café.

When she opened the door, a strong gust of wind greeted her, and Xing Mo inexplicably felt like she had walked a long distance.

She strode along Flame Street for a while, then took out the pendulum and activated her spiritual vision to check if there were any spells placed on it.

After a series of routine inspections, Xing Mo confirmed that there was nothing wrong with the pendulum.

It was really just a free gift... Xing Mo sighed and put the delicate silver chain around her neck, tucking it into her blouse.

She strolled toward Splash Street, where she had lunch, then set off for the Western District, near the academy, and went into a library.

It wasn't until the sun kissed the horizon that Xing Mo raised her head from the books and stretched her body: "Uh~ so tired..."

She spent the entire afternoon verifying whether the canvas she weaved together with the proprietress was right, flipping through at least a dozen books for this purpose.

The conclusion drawn was quite straightforward: it was totally possible.

"It's time to go attend the Starsea Mass." Xing Mo put the books back on the shelves and then picked out a few more to read at home.

After checking out the books, Xing Mo left the library.

It rained in the afternoon, so the twilight breeze carried a hint of moisture, making Xing Mo feel comfortable.

After taking the steam railway, Xing Mo arrived at Saint Auroth Cathedral in the Northern District, then pushed open the door and walked in.

The Starsea Mass had already begun. After closing the door behind her, Xing Mo found a seat in the back rows and sat down, watching quietly.

As golden starlight filled the air, Holy Sister Lilis recited the scripture from the pulpit, her voice ethereal and ancient.

Xing Mo felt the Tree of Life brand on the back of her hand burning, indicating that Aurora was absorbing a large amount of faith force.

That lass... where did she go?
