I'll Still Love You Tomorrow Chapter 7: I'm Not Acting, You're Not Qualified

Even though Lu Jingyan sent him four consecutive messages, Sheng Xian didn’t reply at all. She managed to get back a bit of dignity after successfully getting his number, so she decided to be magnanimous and forgive him.

Lu Jingyan was preoccupied because of Sheng Xian and had barely worked, now that she was feeling better, she started to get busy.

Lu Jingyan was in the media industry and dealt with new media. With the support of the Lu family, she successfully pushed her website to the top in the industry.

The top searches made up the website’s biggest traffic.

It wasn’t an exaggeration to say all sorts of news, be it entertainment or current affairs, the sort that everyone knew to the obscure ones that no one heard about, were all in her company’s hands.

The skies were dark by the time she was done with her work. She glanced at the time on her phone and tapped into her text messages.

She sent out four texts but they all laid silently in her inbox without a response.

After half a minute, another two more texts appeared on the screen.

“Brother, have you eaten?”

“Brother, can I find your WeChat with this number?”

This time, it wasn’t just a lack of response, he didn’t even read the text.

Lu Jingyan copied his phone number and searched on WeChat, there was an account linked to his number. She sent a follower request and sent him another text, “Brother, I added you on WeChat, remember to accept it.”

After work, Lu Jingyan had dinner and went to the gym. It was 10.30pm by the time she reached home, and close to 12am by the time she showered and was ready for bed.

She tapped into her text app and saw that the texts were still unread.

After using her phone for around 10 mins, Lu Jingyan tapped into her text app again.

It was still unread.

Just as she was about to exit the app, the status changed to read.

Lu Jingyan raised her phone, and waited for about five minutes but there was still no reply.

He read the texts but didn’t reply.

Rude.

Lu Jingyan typed another text, “Brother, goodnight.”
