I'll Still Love You Tomorrow Chapter 40: Don't Be Dramatic

The woman he hugged glanced up, “Who is she?”

The man replied, “My colleague.”

The bespectacled woman stared at him in disbelief as tears streamed down her face, “What did you say?”

“Aren’t you my colleague?” The man asked, instantly leaving her at a loss for words.

The man didn’t wish to cause a fuss in front of his friends, he whispered to the woman in his arms, coaxing her before standing to face the bespectacled woman. “Let’s talk outside.”

The woman didn’t move.

The man became impatient, “If you’re not going to talk, you can leave.”

The woman pressed her lips together and left with the man.

Lu Jingyan watched the both of them turn the corner and leave before retracting her gaze.

She held her glass and leisurely finished the rest of the whiskey, reached for two notes and placed it under the glass before leaving.

There was an unlit alley on the left side of the bar, the only source of light coming from the main road.

Lu Jingyan saw the two of them enter.

The man’s tone turned fierce, “Stop messing around, did I ever say you are my girlfriend?”

The woman sobbed softly, “Th-then, what night you…”

“What did I do? Sleep with you? Didn’t you consent?”

“Bu-but you said you like…”

The man chuckled, “You believe the things I said in bed? I like everyone I sleep with, I call all of them darling, that’s just a way to excite things. If not, would you prefer to do it in silence? Besides, didn’t you enjoy yourself? You seemed very satisfied back then…”

The girl hadn’t expected the man to say such things and was at a loss for words.

“Honestly, if you hadn’t appeared today, and continued to go on dates, I would have been willing to satisfy you, but now…” The man shrugged, “seems like it wouldn’t be necessary. Anyways, going on dates with you is boring, you don’t seem to learn at all.”

The girl couldn’t bear to hear anymore, so she turned and ran off.

Lu Jingyan watched indifferently as she ran passed in tears.

In the past, she would have sought the guy out and found an opportunity to hint at him before getting his contact details.

She was never kind towards scums that cheated on innocent young girls.

But today, she hesitated.

She didn’t want to waste her time on such scum.

It wasn’t worth it.

She wanted to give him a fast death.

Lu Jingyan watched the man walk past her, and she shouted out, “Hey.”

The man stopped and turned, when he saw her face, there was a hint of pleasant surprise on his face. He stilled for a second and asked, “Do you need something?”

Lu Jingyan waved him forward, she bit on the hair tie on her wrist and tied up her hair.

The man walked to her, “What is it?”

Lu Jingyan pulled her hair into a pony and secured it with the hair tie. She then looked at the man and yanked his hair, pressed his head down and used her thighs to smash into his nose violently.

Five minutes later.

Lu Jingyan took out her hair tie, shook out her hair and walked away without another look at the man that was huddled on the ground in pain.

She wasn’t dumb.

She had to leave before he realized what had happened.

If he came back to his senses and called the police, she would need to take a statement at the station and that would definitely alert Lu Hongcheng.

That image annoyed her.

There weren't any cabs nearby, and booking one would take a while. She looked around and saw a black car parked at the other side of the road.

He seemed to be leaving.

She ran over, pulled the car doors open and jumped in without a word, “Bro, could you send me to the road ahead please.”

The driver in front didn’t react.

Lu Jingyan passed some cash over, “I’ll treat you to some drinks, thank you.”

The man didn’t accept it.

Lu Jingyan passed it further in front and was just about to say something more when the man turned.

Lu Jingyan, “...”

The man’s eyes twitched and looked straight at her.

Lu Jingyan, “...”

F*ck.

Was this a drama?

How could she have boarded his car?

Lu Jingyan stared at Sheng Xian, not knowing if she should alight or rush him to drive off.

The car was silent for around five seconds.

Sheng Xian retracted his gaze and stepped on the accelerator.
