She adjusted her chair and stuck her head out to look, “Excuse me…”

She paused and stared at the man outside in surprise.

F*ck! Is that a ghost?

She retracted her head, rubbed her eyes and stuck her head back out.

Sheng Xian glanced down, admiring the elementary student head that moved in and out of the car window. He waited two seconds and asked, “What are you doing here so late?”

Lu Jingyan was still confused, and replied without thinking, “Are ghosts able to talk?”

Lu Jingyan regained her senses after the sentence, she looked at him and blinked, “He doesn’t just speak, he’s good looking too.”

He stuck his hands in his pockets, and looked down at her, repeating his question emotionlessly, “What are you doing here?”

“Ah.” She replied slowly, unsure about how to reply.

She hadn’t expected to bump into him, and hadn’t come to meet him.

She had her way with man and could spin out tales without thought.

At this moment, she could say she missed him but didn’t know where to find him so she decided to wait for him here.

But she didn’t want to lie to him.

Lu Jingyan opened her mouth, “I drove about randomly and ended up here.”

Before waiting for him to speak, she asked, “What about you? Why are you still here so late at night?”

Sheng Xian replied, “I was discussing something with a student.”

Lu Jingyan knew her boundaries and didn’t probe further, “Hop on.”

Sheng Xian was startled by the change in subject, “Mmh?”

Lu Jingyan, “Isn’t your car in the bank today? I’ll send you home.”

Before waiting for him to ask how she knew about it, Lu Jingyan laughed, ‘It isn’t just your car plate, I memorized your phone number as well.”

She seemed proud.

Just like a little kid that had finished her work and was waiting for her parents’ to compliment her.
