I'll Still Love You Tomorrow Chapter 26: Do You Want Supper?

Lu Jingyan was stumped.

Sheng Xian looked at her eyes, “Do you want supper?”

Lu Jingyan blanked for a few seconds before replying, “Sure.”

Lu Jingyan didn’t think much of it and added, “I can eat supper, or you can eat me instead.”

“……”

Sheng Xian, who had been going back into the car, stopped moving.

Lu Jingyan pressed down on her lips, realizing she went overboard.

She was afraid he would back out and immediately reached out to grab his sleeve, “I’m kidding.”

Sheng Xian swept her a glance.

Lu Jingyan tugged him into the car bit by bit, smiling obediently, “I’m really kidding.”

Sheng Xian didn’t say anything, he glanced down at the two fingers on his sleeve and sat back in.

Lu Jingyan turned the steering wheel, “Where are we eating?”

Sheng Xian asked, “What do you want to eat?”

Lu Jingyan replied, “I can eat anything with you.”

Sheng Xian realized the elementary school student was a smooth talker.

Lu Jingyan added, “Other than shit.”

Sheng Xian, “...”

In the end, Sheng Xian chose the location. It was a 24 hour Cantonese restaurant near his house.

The restaurant wasn’t far from the clubbing street and was well lit even though it was nearly 12am. The interior was filled with people.

Lu Jingyan followed Sheng Xian all the way to the third floor, before finding an empty seat in the corner beside the window.

The restaurant was always packed and to better serve their customers, there was a QR code placed on every table for them to order their meals.

Sheng Xian reached for his phone, scanned the QR code and passed it to Lu Jingyan, “Order whatever you want.”

Lu Jingyan scrolled through his phone and ordered the dishes she liked.

When she reached the end of the menu, she wanted to go back and order a drink but accidentally exited into the main page of his WeChat.

She didn’t deliberately look at his WeChat but it happened so suddenly it took a while for her to react, causing her to skim through the unread messages.

One of them was from Bo Mu, “Could you help me check if there are any problems with this contract?”

Lu Jingyan didn’t recognise any of the other names but she could tell they were all females.

“Prof Sheng, will you be participating in the school event this time?”

“Lawyer Sheng, what was the book you mentioned in the previous meeting?”

In the short few seconds, a new message appeared, “Mr Sheng, do you have time tomorrow afternoon?”

There was a ‘do not disturb’ indicator at the back of all of the woman’s profiles.

“Tsk.” Lu Jingyan couldn’t help scoffing.

Sheng Xian looked up.

Lu Jingyan hurriedly pushed the phone towards him, “I accidentally exited the page.”

Sheng Xian didn’t say much, he passed her the phone to scan the code again.

After she was done ordering, she returned the phone back to Sheng Xian.

Sheng Xian confirmed the order.

Lu Jingyan was confused, “Aren’t you ordering anything?”

“Mmh.” Sheng Xian exited back to the home screen. He didn’t bother looking at the long string of messages and calmly exited his WeChat.

Lu Jingyan scoffed internally.

That explains why he doesn’t reply to her messages.

The dishes were served very quickly, Lu Jingyan was originally hungry but had given up due to her low spirits but now that the delicious looking food was placed on the table, her hunger was back in full force. She took up her chopsticks and engrossed herself in the food.

Sheng Xian wasn’t hungry but he still took a few bites.

After 12, there was another wave of customers.

There were many bars nearby and if singles managed to secure a date, they would usually come here for a meal before heading off to a hotel.

At around quarter after 12, that wave of crowd came up to the top floor and sat behind them.

The crowd were clearly from the bars, their clothes were filled with the smell of cigarettes and strong smelling perfume. It was deep into winter but the ladies were skimpily dressed, seemingly unafraid of the cold.

They were very noisy, and would often break into exaggerated laughter.

Sheng Xian had a natural spotlight presence, even though he was very quiet, one of the ladies saw him, “Look, that guy is so handsome!”

“Which one? Ah, I saw him, he’s so hot!”

“Hurry, get his number or there won't be another chance.”

Amidst their chatter, Lu Jingyan took out her phone and sent Sheng Xian a text, “That group of girls have their eyes on you.”

The moment she sent the text, one of them dressed in a short black tweed skirt walked over.

She stood beside the table, pulled her extremely short skirt with one hand and held her phone to her chest with the other. With her head slightly lowered, she asked, “Mmh, I’m sorry to disturb.”

Sheng Xian’s reaction was delayed for a few seconds before he raised his head.

The lady hurriedly passed her phone to him, “Do you have WeChat?”

“No.” Sheng Xian retracted his gaze calmly and tapped his phone screen in front of her.

The next moment, Lu Jingyan received a text. She turned and saw that it was from Sheng Xian’s WeChat, “Oh.”

Lu Jingyan, “...”

Unable to get his WeChat, the girl walked away with regret.

Lu Jingyan bit down on her pork ribs, and replied to his text.

“You’re a good liar.”

“You told the lady you don’t have a WeChat account while using it in front of her.”

“Liar.”

Sheng Xian locked his phone screen without replying.

Lu Jingyan pouted and continued to eat.

“Ah.” She suddenly exclaimed.

They sat facing each other and at the start, she sent Sheng Xian a WeChat message to remind him about what the group of girls were talking about but after he had reject the girl, why did she send him another WeChat message?

Lu Jingyan pondered for two seconds but couldn’t seem to figure out her actions. Soon, her thoughts turned towards Sheng Xian.

His scum behavior was indeed exemplary.

There were so many women after him but none of them have moved him?

Lu Jingyan has played the scum field for a long time and has never been interested in their past but she was particularly interested in Sheng Xian’s.

She looked up and glanced at Sheng Xian.

Sheng Xian placed his phone down, “What is it?”

Lu Jingyan, “...”

Sheng Xian looked at her impatiently.

Alright, you were the one that asked.

Lu Jingyan placed her chopsticks down and looked him in the eye, “Have you slept with anyone before?”
