Gaining A Husband After a Memory Loss (BL) Chapter 15.2: What Kind Of Coy Wife Are You? (2)

He Jiang: “Are you done watching them? Let’s go back.”

He hopped down from the rock and picked up Shang Jing’s sack. “Hurry up, don’t let your cold worsen.”

“You are such a jinx.” Shang Jing sniffled his nose. Ignoring his shattering self-esteem, he asked, “Are you going to accept my proposal?”

He Jiang would of course not tell him the agenda of his morning meeting. Calmly, he said, “It depends on your performance. To be honest, I am still not convinced you are capable of the coy wife role.”

Shang Jing’s eyes widened.

Oh! There’s hope! I knew it, no one would be unmoved by the attractive pay of a reality show!

“I definitely have the required acting skills!” At the very least, the film emperor himself had yet to notice my memory loss.

He Jiang: “Is that so? I’ll give you five days to prove yourself.”

Shang Jing stood on the rock and looked down at He Jiang condescendingly.

What does that mean? Does He Jiang want me to simp over him for five days before he agrees to the proposal? What a douchebag.

But a man should not be fixated on the little details.

Shang Jing closed his eyes and pictured what a coy wife should do. With much awkwardness, he called out, “H-hubby! Catch me!”

Hopping off the rock with his eyes closed, that was romantic…

He Jiang quickly let go of the sack and spread his arms wide to receive Shang Jing. As their chests hit each other, the sound of their quickened heartbeats echoed around them.

The veins on He Jiang’s arms protruded out as he circled them tightly around Shang Jing’s waist. He seethed, “Do you think we are in the game? How can you jump off like that without looking?”

Shang Jing: “This isn’t even that high. Even if you didn’t catch me, I will still be fine.”

He paused.

What did He Jiang say?

The only memory he had recovered to date that had something to do with He Jiang was when they were playing a game. If he went a few rounds with him in that game, would it stimulate his brain and help him recover more of his memories?

But the issue was, what game did they play? He had seen He Jiang’s handphone interface before. There was not a single game installed.

Shang Jing buried his head in He Jiang’s shoulder and thought for a moment. He decided to test the water and said, “I haven’t gamed in a while. Let’s play a few rounds together.”

He Jiang: “I’m not free. Don’t even think about it.”

Shang Jing opened his mouth to insist but was cruelly cut off by He Jiang. “To debut as a couple or to play the game, you can only choose one.”

Shang Jing: “Why are they mutually exclusive? We can even become a gaming couple.”

He Jiang: “Does that mean you choose the game?”

Shang Jing: “... It is of course more important to make money.”

He Jiang had never rejected him so sternly before.

Something must be wrong with the game. Shang Jing decided to leave the suspicion in his mind and try out some popular games when he got back.

He would definitely be able to tell whether he had played that game before based on the hand-feel.

But he could not help thinking…

Could He Jiang be really bad at the game? Scared of losing face?

We are Hosted Novel, find us on google.

Or is He Jiang coupled with someone else in the game and is scared of me finding out?

He Jiang took a deep breath. He thought Shang Jing had uninstalled the game after their break up. To think the rascal was still the same game addict as before.

Grabbing Shang Jing’s chin, he warned, “Don’t let me find out you have PUBG installed in your phone. Or else…”

Shang Jing: “... Or else you will not debut as a couple with me?”

He Jiang: “Yes.”

Control freak.

He thought He Jiang had changed his male chauvinist ways. But trying to stop an adult from playing a game…?

PUBG huh, I’ll take a look at that tonight.

Shang Jing nodded his head fervently. “I’ll listen to you. I’ll not download it.”

He Jiang let go of Shang Jing. He was still worried. He was glad Shang Jing had not been playing games recently and did not have to suffer from insomnia from the gunshot sounds, but it seemed like that period of peace was going to end.

With much thought, he sent a text to his psychiatrist friend: 【Get back here quick.】
