Peerless Battle Spirit Chapter 7 - Achieving the Foundation Stage of the Saber Art

Qin Nan picked a saber made from black iron, packed some dried foods that would last him five days, and left for the Longhu Mountain Range.

The place was a short distance away from Linshui City. It only took Qin Nan two hours to reach there.

“The Thundercrash Saber Art emphasises speed and sudden explosiveness… If there’s any good place to practice this skill, it would be there.”

Qin Nan pondered for a moment before heading toward his destination according to his memory.

Although the journey only covered a distance of three li1, it took Qin Nan half an hour just to get there. The reason being that there were many beasts residing in the Longhu Mountain Range. Since Qin Nan’s priority now was to practice the Thundercrash Saber Art, he had no intention to stir up trouble here.

A while later, after passing an ancient giant tree, a waterfall could be seen ahead.

The waterfall had a height of ten meters, with water pouring down ferociously, producing giant splashes on the small lake with a circumference of twenty meters below.

“This is it.” Qin Nan’s eyes glistened while he checked the surroundings.

After making sure the place was clear, Qin Nan placed his supplies down and jumped straight into the lake while holding the Black Iron Saber.

“Thundercrash Saber Art, drawing out the saber at the speed of lightning…”

Qin Nan stood on the surface of the lake with his eyes shut. His thoughts were filled with the moves of the Thundercrash Saber Art. Following this, his arm lashed out with great power, allowing the Black Iron Saber to turn into an icy glow slashing at the water.

As there was resistance in the water, even with Qin Nan’s third-layer Body Tempering Realm cultivation, the slash only produced a small gap on the surface of the water, which vanished immediately after.

Qin Nan continued to lash out slashes in the water.

Time gradually passed; two days were gone in the blink of an eye. Within this period, Qin Nan had entered a ‘selfless’ state of mind as he kept on repeating the same action over and over again.
