EIF: Subscription Billing is Activated for Patreon

I know the title sounds sinister, but I assure you it's good. Previously, Patreon charges on the 1st of every month. So if you subbed on the 28th, you get charged once on the 28th as charge upfront is activated. Then you get charged again on the 1st of the following month. Essentially a double charge in this case.

Subscription billing means that if you subbed on the 28th, you only pay again on the 28th of the following month.

So what does this mean? Well, to existing supporters, nothing. Assuming you had been subbed for a while, and you had been charged on the 1st previously, that will continue; no double charge there; they just consider the payment day to be the 1st.

To new supporters, it means that no matter when you subbed, you remain subbed for one full month (30 days or so) without paying anything extra no matter when you subbed, be it the last day of a month or the 1st.
