Once he confirmed that a large magical beast had captured the small animal and ate it, he would secretly summon the Ruined Poet before activating the Extremely Poisonous Spike.

As long as Dekan continued to supply magic power nonstop, the Extremely Poisonous Spike would continue to cause damage to its target.

Most importantly, Dekan had softened the Extremely Poisonous Spike to make it extremely flexible and also added a special layer of corrosion inhibitor to protect
