The Defeated Saintess Is On A Journey To Tame The Evil God Book 01 Chapter 02.02 - Little Trick

After washing up, Xing Mo put on the old robe, looked at herself in the mirror, and sighed. She had a hard time adjusting to this.

After becoming a girl, Xing Mo's body had become more slender. The robe that originally hung loosely from her no longer fit.

The thing she was even less used to was daily activities. This morning, Xing Mo stood in front of the toilet bowl for a minute in a daze, before realizing she lost her precision tool.

Umm, it was no longer possible to pinpoint now. She had no choice but to sit on the toilet bowl.

When she thought of this, Xing Mo's cheeks turned red. She inadvertently recalled the scenes of her taking a shower with Aurora from last night.

That could be classified as... erotic...

In her eighteen years of life, Xing Mo hardly had any contact with girls. She only had some physical contact with Alice while playing with her. But that was far from anything impure.

This was the first time she was in a compromising situation of this sort, let alone of this degree.

Despicable... Evil God pest! This was all the Evil God's plot!

If it weren't for the fact that she didn't want to destroy her quiet and elegant image, Xing Mo would have been jumping up and down and holding her head in her hands.

In any case, today she had to accompany the little lass to Saint Auroth Cathedral.

If felt quite scary hearing Aurora speak of turning the cathedral into her own church.

But, before that, Aurora agreed to go to a tailor shop. Xing Mo's clothing was still the same robe she wore during the mission. If she didn't change clothes, others might find it strange.

She had to choose female clothes this time... the more she thought about it, the more ashamed she felt...

Standing in front of the mirror by herself, Xing Mo's cheeks flushed. Right at this time, Aurora's voice came from behind her: "Is your female self that nice to look at, Young Saintess~"

From the reflection in the mirror, Xing Mo saw Aurora smile meaningfully. She quickly cleared her throat: "Nothing of the sort."

"Although you have become a girl, but you still react to beautiful girls." Aurora suddenly hugged Xing Mo from behind, "Then... do you like me?"

What's with this nonsense?! It's the Evil God's temptation!

Xing Mo suppressed the jibe that wished to burst out from inside her and said in a calm voice: "Of course I like you. After all, you are my master, Ms. Aurora."

"Wow, you can act on cue." Aurora smiled brightly. All of a sudden, her expression turned placid again, and she said, "Alright, it's time to go. You've been looking at yourself in the mirror for ten minutes now."

Had it been that long... Xing Mo wanted to say something more, but then the Tree of Life brand on the back of her hand lit up.

She sighed and obediently followed Aurora out the door.

......

"Does the costume fit well? Does it need any adjustments?

"There's no need, Auntie. Our budget is limited. It's fine as is."

In a tailor shop, in front of a mirror, Xing Mo turned her body and looked at herself in the mirror.

She was wearing a classical academy uniform—white blouse, blue bow tie, long black skirt reaching the calves.

This was Nevirabeta Magic Academy’s uniform. Students can purchase it at a tailor shop, and then wear it on the day school starts.

One thing to note. Although wearing the female uniform was quite disgraceful... but it felt unexpectedly liberating.

This unconstrained feeling from the lower body... um... it feels quite comfortable... but there may be some inconveniences during combat.

Can it be torn off?

No, no... a skirt shouldn't be torn off... a girl shouldn't tear off her skirt...

Xing Mo sighed and looked at Aurora: "Are you done choosing?"

At this moment, Aurora, on top of a small stool, was looking at herself in a mirror, changing poses.

She wore a similar academy uniform. However, the skirt was shorter, reaching mid-thigh, with short white stockings covering her fair slender legs and a pair of black school shoes encasing her feet.

After putting on the uniform, the lass's temperament changed, and the previous aura—a mixture of holiness and wickedness—disappeared. It was replaced with the sunny and lively aura of a school girl, accompanied by a smile that seemed to radiate holy light.

Aurora didn't seem to hear Xing Mo. She was focused on admiring herself in the mirror, occasionally lifting a leg, turning an arm, her heart-shaped pupils pulsating.

Narcissistic thing.

Xing Mo sighed and turned to the tailor shop's aunty, saying: "We'll be taking these two costumes. How much are day?"

"The price is on the price table." The aunty uttered, then hesitated, "That... Lassie, the bow tie is wrong."

"It's wrong?" Xing Mo lowered her head and looked at the blue bow tie, "It's not tied wrong."

"Girls wear pink bow ties, not blue." The aunty pointed out, "That's what boys wear."

A proverbial thunderbolt struck Xing Mo, and she quickly averted her gaze: "Ah... right, right, I took the wrong one, Auntie. I'm sorry... I... I've just come from Fallou and am not very familiar with these... ha-ha..."

"So you're Fallouan." The aunty nodded, then scrutinized Xing Mo's face, "I thought you were Yanxian, Lassie. Your temperament is very similar to that of those pretty easterners."

"Mmm... ah, I'm of mixed blood." Xing Mo explained, "Half Fallouan, half Yanxian."

In fact, Xing Mo didn't know where she came from either. She was an orphan raised by the Citadel, her background a mystery to this day.

But, the instructor often said that she had the temperament of a Yanxian. Yanxia was a country far away from the Vestan Continent, and Xing Mo had never been there before. She could only watch as Dragons migrate between the Vestan Continent and Yanxia every spring and autumn.

The tailor shop's aunty, evidently convinced by Xing Mo's explanation, nodded, then turned her gaze toward Aurora: "That's your sister? But why is her hair white?"

"It's due to albinism. It is a disease that causes skin to turn pale, eyes to turn red, and hair to turn white." Xing Mo spat out the prepared explanation in a quick succession.

"Ah... poor girl..." The tailor shop's aunty apparently had heard of the disease before, "It mustn't have been easy for you sisters to come to the Citadel to study... Why don't I give you a discount?"

"No need, Auntie. We still have enough money for the uniforms. And besides, it's not easy for you to run a business in the Northern District. How could I..."

As Xing Mo was declining the aunty's offer, Aurora jumped off the stool and grabbed her skirt.

"Sister, I want this costume~" She said with an innocent expression, making Xing Mo feel uneasy.

The tailor shop's aunty seemed to be moved by Aurora's cute and innocent appearance. She took a deep breath, then patted Xing Mo on the shoulder: "Lassie, take care of your sister. Buy some food with the saved money. Look how thin she is... I'm fine..."

"Sister, I'm hungry. Can I have breakfast today?" Aurora tilted her head toward Xing Mo.

Shoot, she hoodwinked her!

Xing Mo looked at Aurora, then at the auntie, and finally sighed helplessly: "That, thank you, Auntie."
