Necromancer: I Am A Disaster Chapter 5 - Godly Talent; Godly Passive Skill; Resilient Like A Cockroach

Xia Xue, standing at 1.7 meters with a graceful figure and delicate features, was widely regarded as the prettiest girl in school. But Lin Moyu, taller at 1.85 meters, forced her to look up when addressing him.

"Lin Moyu, I want to compete with you." Xia Xue declared.

Lin Moyu looked at her, a figurative question mark on his face.

Knowing he wasn't fond of talking, Xia Xue got straight to the point, "Let's see who gets a better score in the great examination."

"Okay." Lin Moyu replied before walking past her.

Xia Xue stomped her feet in frustration, "Then it's settled! I won't keep losing to you."

She had expected to crush Lin Moyu easily with her superior class, but then Lin Moyu awakened a hidden class. Whether the Necromancer class was weak or strong, one thing was clear—she had lost again. But Xia Xue wasn't ready to give up.

...

Lin Moyu returned to his empty home and prepared something to eat. The furnishings were sparse, almost barren, except for a single conspicuous photo. The picture showed Lin Moyu, a beautiful young woman, and an elderly woman with gray hair. Bathed in sunlight, the Lin Moyu in the photo had a light smile on his face, completely different from his current self. The two women were also smiling.

The photo was taken three years ago.

Lin Moyu transmigrated into this world and inherited the memories and emotions of the original owner of his body, including a deep affection for the two people in the photo. In his previous life on Earth, he had been an orphan with no relatives or friends. But in this life, he had family—people who cared for him. He cherished them deeply.

Unfortunately, the good times didn't last. Two years ago, his grandmother passed away due to illness. A year ago, his sister left for Xiajing Academy. Now, Lin Moyu was alone at home, growing increasingly reserved.

"I'm going to Xiajing Academy too." Lin Moyu vowed silently.

His determination to enter the academy was driven by his sister, Lin Mohan, who was already there. However, gaining admission to Xiajing Academy was incredibly difficult. Last year, out of all the students in Xihai City, only Lin Mohan was admitted.

A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.

"Principal Lu."

Lu Yun stood at the door with a bag in hand, "Moyu, here are some supplies. I'll be back in a few days with fresh ones."

"Thank you." Lin Moyu replied as he took the bag.

Lu Yun nodded, "You're entering the dungeon tomorrow. Get some rest tonight."

For the past year, Lu Yun had been delivering supplies to Lin Moyu every few days. It was a promise he made to Lin Mohan. As Xihai City's top scorer, Lin Mohan had been admitted to Xiajing Academy, but she didn't want to leave her younger brother behind. She knew that once she went to the academy, she wouldn't be able to return for at least three years. Lu Yun promised to take care of Lin Moyu, and only then did Lin Mohan agree to go.

For a city like Xihai, having a student admitted into Xiajing Academy was a great honor, especially for No. 1 High School and Lu Yun. He had kept his promise, taking care of Lin Moyu throughout the year.

That night, Lin Moyu studied his skills. His spirit force had recovered, and he could summon another Skeletal Warrior. In his left palm, he held a bright red gemstone—the only thing he had brought with him when he transmigrated. As he raised his hand to summon another Skeletal Warrior, a voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

[Detected that the host has awakened the Necromancer class]

[The class meets the requirements. Binding the Strongest Talent System]

[Extracting the world's origin to optimize abilities]

[Ability optimization completed]

[Congratulations. The host has awakened the unique godly talent: Comprehensive Amplification (level 1)]

[Congratulations. The host has obtained the passive skill: Damage Transfer]

Lin Moyu's mind jolted. He immediately checked his attributes.

[Name: Lin Moyu]

[Class: Necromancer (unique)]

[Level: 1 (0.00%)]

[Strength: 10]

[Agility: 10]

[Spirit: 20]

[Physique: 10]

[Equipment: none]

[Summon space: 1/10, Skeletal Warrior (1)]

[Talent: Comprehensive Amplification (level 1, unique)]

[Passive skill: Damage Transfer]

[Combat skills: Soul Blaze (level 1), Summon Skeletal Warrior (level 1)]

[Comprehensive Amplification (level 1): enhances the effects of all skills by 10 times.]

[Damage Transfer: transfers all damage taken by the host to the summons.]

[Soul Blaze (level 1)]: deals damage to the target's soul. The power depends on spirit force and skill level.]

[Summon Skeletal Warrior (level 1): summons an Iron Skeletal Warrior.]

His basic attributes haven't changed, but he gained an astonishing talent and passive skill.

Even at level 1, the unique godly talent amplified all skill by 10 times. Lin Moyu couldn't put into words how powerful this was. Despite his usual calm demeanor, a trace of shock appeared on his face.

The passive skill was equally incredible, fully deserving its classification as a godly skill. All damage would be transferred to his summons. As long as his summons weren't wiped out, he wouldn't die. To kill him, one would have to eliminate all his summons first.

This passive skill made him nearly unkillable, especially if he had thousands of summons. It was unheard of.

After a long moment, Lin Moyu finally snapped out of his shock, realizing that the red gemstone in his hand had disappeared.

"So it was your doing." He muttered.

Lin Moyu activated his skill and summoned an Iron Skeletal Warrior. A vortex appeared before him, accompanied by hair-raising sounds as the Iron Skeletal Warrior emerged from the swirling energy.
