After Chen Heng went out, it was Exusiai’s turn. However, she still maintained a smile on her face, not appearing worried at all. She was the true repeat offender. It was possible she had been here more frequently than she had visited Rhodes Island.

“Ah Heng, how was it? That Madam Ch’en did not make things difficult for you, right? She’s supposedly famous for being strict.”

“It was fine. Ch’en did not make trouble for me. She only asked some basic questions. However, Liz, I noticed you did not react to being brought to the Lungmen Guard Department.”

“What is there to react to? I only need you by my side.”

Nightingale’s answer placed the ball back in Chen Heng’s court, but he did not know what to do with it; he had no idea what to say now.

“Liz, have you taken your medicine today?” This was all Chen Heng could come up with after thinking for a long time.

“Ah Heng, you should talk about pleasant things. My injuries are basically healed, so I don’t need to eat the medicine anymore, right? That medicine is a little bitter.”

“That won’t do. You still have to take the medicine. Nightingale, just endure the bitterness for two more days. You should be fine after two more days of medicine.”

“Alright, give it to me.”

Nightingale extended her soft, fair hands to Chen Heng.

“What are you asking for?”

“…The medicine I gave you should last twenty days. Did you not bring it? Did you do it on purpose, or did you forget?”

“Initially, I forgot. However, I intentionally left the medicine in Rhodes Island after Shining brought the medicine to me. I’m here to have fun in the first place; why take the medicine?”

“…”

In the end, Chen Heng coaxed Nightingale into taking the medicine. This time, he gave her the Wood Divine Pill, the higher-grade version. Just taking this one pill should more or less do it.
