Chen Heng and the others were brought to the Lungmen Guard Department on charges of speeding, discharging high-powered weapons within city limits, vandalism, fighting, and illegal possession of weapons.

“Why? This is my first time in Lungmen, the city of commerce. I even have two friends with me, a double joy of mutual benefit. I should be wandering Lungmen with my friends. How did things turn out like this? Why did I end up in the Lungmen Guard Department on the first day?” Chen Heng lamented in some despair.

“Ah! This…He Who Knows Fate, don’t be too upset. Don’t worry. Our boss will get us out soon.”

“Exusiai, there’s no need to console me. I miss quiet. Don’t ask me who quiet is. I did not expect my first experience in Lungmen to be in the Lungmen Guard Department. This is simply terrible.”

“Ah Heng, there’s no need to be sad. Actually, being brought to the Lungmen Guard Department is nothing much. Kal’tsit will immediately communicate with them.” Influenced by Nightingale, Skadi had started addressing Chen Heng as Ah Heng.

“Skadi, you…seem familiar with this?” Now, Chen Heng felt that Skadi was like an old hand at this. Was it just a misperception?

“You have seen the way I fight. You probably can figure out I damage the surroundings when I fight. I sometimes end up getting brought to the law enforcement organizations to await a demand for compensation.”

“…However, we are not on official business this time.”

“He Who Knows Fate, I told you already, don’t worry. Our boss will get us out.” Exusiai patted Chen Heng’s shoulder, getting him to calm down.

“Exusiai, why is it you again? I just knew your Penguin Logistics would not remain quiet.” As Exusiai consoled Chen Heng, a blue-haired, red-irised figure came out of a neighboring office.

“Oh! It’s you, Madam Ch’en! It’s been a long time.”

Madam Ch’en’s full name was Chen Huijie, the Lungmen Guard Department’s Special Inspection Unit Chief.
