Lu Jingyan coughed lightly, glancing at the half finished cup of coffee in front of Sheng Xian. She pondered for a moment, picked up the cup and took a sip, “...An indirect kiss partner he isn’t close to.”

Sheng Xian, “...”

Bo Mu, “...”

“You don’t believe me? I have proof.” Lu Jingyan opened her bag, took out a few red notes and waved them in front of Bo Mu, “Look at this, one, two, three, four, five…”

Sheng Xian’s head started to ache from her childish antics, he massaged his temples and interrupted her, “Do you need anything?”

Lu Jingyan stubbornly finished counting all five notes before asking, “What about you? Do you need anything?”

Sheng Xian nodded, “Yes.”

“What is it?” Lu Jingyan glanced at Bo Mu, “Let you enjoy your date with her?”

Sheng Xian didn’t wish to answer her strange question.

Lu Jingyan stared at him, “Is she your type?”

“Do you like her type?”

Seeing her persistent ‘I will not give up until I get an answer’ expression, and the impending explosion, Sheng Xian fell silent for a few seconds before giving up, “No.”

Lu Jingyan pondered over his answer for a while but didn’t understand what he meant.

Was it that he didn’t like Bo Mu’s type, or…

Sheng Xian seemed to see through her thoughts, and explained calmly, “We’re not on a date, it's for work.”

That was when Lu Jingyan realized there were a few documents on the table.

She swept past the documents.

It seemed to be a contract termination document.

Seems like it was really for work.

Men hated when their girlfriend disturbed them at work.

Lu JingYan certainly wouldn’t be dumb enough to fall into that category. She nodded slowly and stood up with her bag, "You can take your time, I'll wait outside."

Lu Jingyan was afraid Sheng Xian didn’t understand her words, and added, “I’ll be waiting for you.”

Lu Jingyan came in like a tornado, and left like an obedient cat.

In order to appear particularly obedient, she graciously shut the door for them.

Bo Mu's management contract was about to expire and a new contract was being negotiat
