Lu Ya flew up the fusang tree to a large city where Bing Ji’s prison was.

“Crown Prince, Palace Master Supreme Genesis said no one is permitted to meet Bing Ji. I…I…”

A few men appearing to be guards blocked Lu Ya.

“Oh? Not even this crown prince?” Lu Ya’s tone suddenly turned chilly.

The guards shivered.

“I…” One of the guards wanted to continue obstructing.

Lu Ya glared, and a saber qi shot out of his eyes.

The saber qi from Lu Ya’s eyes exploded that guard’s body.

“Crown Prince, please forgive us!” The other guards immediately knelt.

Lu Ya did not bother looking at the others as he walked into the prison directly.

The guards remained kneeling on the ground, shuddering. No one dared to block Lu Ya again.

In the prison:

Bing Ji sat cross-legged as Lu Ya walked over. She opened her eyes slightly.

“Did you hear the sound outside?” Lu Ya asked.

Naturally, the sound outside referred to the Supreme Wa’s voice as she tried to protect Gu Hai. Back then, the battle had been thunderous. The entire fusang tree had shaken intensely. How could she not have heard it?

Bing Ji’s face sank as she looked at Lu Ya. Unexpectedly, Lu Ya had managed to capture Gu Hai.

Back then, Lu Ya wanted to kill Gu Hai. That was why Bing Ji convinced him to capture Gu Hai instead as the condition for her serving under him. That way, Gu Hai could be prepared to deal with Lu Ya. Unexpectedly, Lu Ya was this incredible.
