EIF - Book 04 Chapter 049: Saving Wanyu

High in the sky:

When Gu Hai saw Long Wanyu cornered on the blood dragon’s head, his face suddenly sank. Although he did not know why she got cornered there, it was no longer important.

“Brother-in-Law!” Long Wanyu called out in fear and horror in the distance.

“Gu Hai, you are trying to run? Do you believe that if you run, I’ll immediately kill this lass? Go on and run! Go on! Try it!” Mister Dongfang roared ferociously.

“Roar!” The blood dragon roared ferociously as well, looking like it would charge at Gu Hai.

Outside, Sima Feng and the others took the flying ship into the sky to see what was happening inside. Their expressions changed wildly, but they could not do anything, as the barrier formed by the Blood Dragon Lifespan Ritual Array was too tough.

Sha and Qing Feng had left long ago. It seemed like things had turned desperate.

Gu Hai’s face sank as he shouted, “Lifespan cultivator Dongfang!”

“Ha! Die? That might not be the case!” Gu Hai said coldly.

Mister Dongfang approached slowly on the blood dragon. He did not move too fast, as Gu Hai was right by the barrier. Ju Lu escaped through the barrier using a sword talisman earlier. Mister Dongfang was worried that Gu Hai would disregard everything else and escape if he pressured Gu Hai too much.

Whoosh!

However, Gu Hai did not flee. Looking at Long Wanyu, he descended slowly.

“Mister Gu, how did that person go out earlier?”

“Emperor Gu, do you have a way out?”

“Mister Gu, save me!”

The people being hunted down earlier immediately flew towards Gu Hai. They looked at their last hope with anticipation.

Everyone had come for the dragon vein. However, no one cared about it anymore. They just wanted to flee. Gu Hai was now everyone’s hope.

Mister Dongfang stared at Gu Hai. He still did not know why Gu Hai could move freely within his lifespan ritual array.
