“You know the Azure Emperor? Who is he?” Gu Hai asked with a frown.

“Why should I tell you?” Fairy Waner countered, still showing anger on her face as she looked at Gu Hai.

Gu Hai smiled bitterly.

Gu Hai did not want the earlier confusion. He had been in a daze then, mistaking Fairy Waner for Chen Xianer.

“I will take responsibility,” Gu Hai said after a deep breath.

“Responsibility? Who wants you to take responsibility?” Fairy Waner retorted furiously while glaring.

“Gu Hai, listen up. Nothing happened today. You and I never…never… In any case, forget what just happened. Responsibility? I don’t need you to take responsibility! Humph!” Fairy Waner said in anger.

Gu Hai frowned slightly. Although he had been in a daze earlier, unable to tell who it was, he still remembered what he did; it was imprinted deeply in his mind. In fact, the nascent embryo in his fire deity palace had an intimate connection with Fairy Waner.

It was not just Gu Hai. One of Fairy Waner’s nascent souls had the same feeling. This was what angered Fairy Waner the most.

“What I said will always hold true. You…,” Gu Hai said while shaking his head.

“Humph!” Fairy Waner snorted coldly.

She extended her hand and collected the bedsheets. Then, she walked out of the underground palace.

“You still haven’t said who the Azure Emperor is!” Gu Hai shouted.

“Search by yourself, you big bastard!” Fairy Waner shouted as she rushed out of the underground palace.

Gu Hai smiled bitterly but did not give chase.

Indeed. Since I already know the name, I can slowly investigate this. Azure Emperor? He should be easy to find.
