Unlike Qin Ling who was looking all over, Shen Ling and Xiannu Liang didn’t even look at Long Di’s battlefield since they knew he was fine.

After all, Long Di took on a First Fusion Martial Grandmaster by himself. Even if a hundred Martial Masters charged towards him, he would still win.

As Shen Ling and Xiannu Liang faced off against their foes, they counted six of them. Their cultivations stood at either the peak of the Ninth Duan of the Cauldron Forging Realm or the First Core of the Core Formation Realm.

“Give us the spiritual artefact!” the same youth that spoke before ordered Xiannu Liang.

“If you do, maybe we won’t rough you up too much!” another one sneered.

Shen Ling saw this and smiled before she liberated her cauldrons.

Exclamations rang out when Shen Ling’s existence came to light. They were both enamoured and shocked by her.

Nine pitch-black abyssal cauldrons quietly emerged into being. The patterns engraved into them couldn’t even be made out since they reflected no light. They were like cauldron-shaped stains burned into the fabric of reality.

Not even their rotations could be made out due to their mysterious quality. They carried an eerie beauty not unlike their master.

The disciples that looked at them found themselves unable to escape from their all-encompassing nature.

“Don’t look at them!”

A shout backed with spiritual force rang out, shaking them from their stupor. The elders who accompanied them saw what was happening and were shocked.

They all took the initiative to look at the young ones’ side to see what was happening. When they saw Long Shen Ling’s cauldrons, an irrational fear gripped them!

They hadn’t even noticed Shen Ling before she intentionally revealed herself. They looked at her and were filled with trepidation over her power and beauty.

In all honesty, they had been secretly following Long Di’s group ever since they left the Ren’duan Dwelling. Since the latter’s group comprised Heavenly Sun Noble, Violet Flame Noble, Ice Star Yun and the Divine Daughter, they truly thought that nothing much would come from this.

In normal circumstances, they wouldn’t even think of following such high-profile figures. However, the allure of the Nymph fuelled the elders’ greed. This was an existence they might never come across again for the rest of their lives.

As for the youngsters, they were filled with worship for the Five Nobles, however; they chose not to get too near due to the Divine Daughter being an existence they couldn’t compare to.

Also, they were filled with greed for the artefact that Xiannu Liang had received from the Ren’duan. They were more or less from influential powers since only such powers could send out disciples with rare enough materials that could get the attention of the Ren’duans.

Such disciples obviously felt that Xiannu Liang wasn’t worthy of the spiritual artefact bestowed upon her. So they wanted it for themselves.

Of course, earlier they didn’t dare to get too close due to the Five Nobles, but their conflicting feelings kept them at a distance. It was only when they saw the ice carriage departing, leaving only Long Di and his group along with another unrecognisable girl, that they decided to make a move.

However, never did they think that just this group alone possessed such terrifying combat prowess.

Without warning, the ground beneath their feet blasted apart as vines erupted from underground!

The disciples were frightened out of their wits and they immediately unsheathed their weapons and let loose countless slashes upon the vines. Only the thinnest ones were cut apart while the thicker ones barely held on.

But the problem was that more and more took their place bolstering the thickness with numbers!

“Ge Si Bian, use it!” one of the disciples yelled to the one who spoke first.

Ge Si Bian’s jaw clenched shut before he took out an orange crystal orb.

When the others saw it, their eyes lit up!

Vhwoosh!

A roaring fire suddenly erupted from the orb and assaulted the vines with unending ferocity!

“What!?”

The disciples widened when they saw the vines actually resisting the fire to an extent!

It was no secret that attacks like these vines were extremely weak to flames, yet Xiannu Liang’s vines, though burning, were resisting them a little instead of being incinerated in an instant!

However, they didn’t know that the hairpin Xiannu Liang wore contained both wood and divine flame energy. This allowed her nature energy to not only contain traces of divine flame energy but also allowed her to resist it.

Of course, this was only made with a quasi-Phoenix Feather’s Roost, and she hadn’t had it for long, so the amount of resistance she had built up wasn’t much.

“Ge Si Bian, what are–”

“Aaaah!”

Suddenly, the flames sputtered into nothing, causing the other disciples to look to him when a chilling scene gripped them.

His eyes were completely black and an expression of horror stained his face.

“What happened!?” The only girl in the group stared at Ge Si Bian with intense trepidation.

A sound from before them caught their attention, and they looked ahead to see the vines opening up whilst on fire to reveal the same ethereal beauty from before.

They only saw her for a moment before everything else was gone from their sight.

Screams of terror wracked the cityscape, matching the scene of death that filled this place.

Xiannu Liang then used her vines to tie them up, which they were powerless to defend against.

Xiannu Liang then walked up beside Shen Ling to take a look at her handiwork.

“Your abilities have grown really powerful!” Xiannu Liang said in praise.

Shen Ling smiled upon hearing this. “Thank you. My blindness may have encumbered me somewhat, but it allowed me to gain new insight into the Abyss Scripture.”

Because of Shen Ling’s current comprehension of the Abyss Scripture, her cultivation skyrocketed. Even now, she was at the peak of the Ninth Duan and was ready to break through to the first core of the Core Formation Realm at any time.

Boom!

An explosion suddenly sounded out and Shen Ling and Xiannu Liang looked over to Long Di standing expressionlessly among the listless bodies of several old men.

Qin Ling, who hadn’t taken part in the fight, was once more blown away not just by Long Di’s power, but by Xiannu Liang and Shen Ling’s combat prowess as well.

They deftly handled the younger experts with little to no trouble. While Long Di effectively beat the brakes off of several elderly men.

However, he was more heavy-handed than the girls, as he had killed all but one of them. It was coincidentally the same one who spoke to Long Di first.

Not like it mattered as Long Di was walking over to him with the sabre in hand to finish him off.

He was far too weak to stand up against Long Di. His blood qi was weak, and as such he wasn’t able to face off against Long Di for very long. Even if he could, he still couldn’t win.

“If it’s any consolation, our talks are a lot more civilised than they are between me and my master,” Long Di told him.

“Then spare me!” The old cultivator begged Long Di.

“It wasn’t that civilised,” replied Long Di.

“You villain!” the old man nearly peed himself.

“Now that’s a bit much don’t you think?”

“You’re going to kill me!”

“And yet I will live, so who’s really the villain here?”

“It’s still you, you cur!”

“I guess it is. I don’t know where I was going with that.”

“Spare me!”

“Okay then…”

“Why are you still raising your sabre!?”

“I lied.”

“You–”

“I will buy my life!” the old man put both of his hands up in a futile attempt to stop Long Di.

“Now I don’t wanna brag or anything, but uhm, I’m disgustingly rich if I’m being honest with ya,” as Long Di said this, he brought down the sabre to make this world one old man less.

“I meant in knowledge!”

The elder managed to say just mere moments before the sabre saw him through!

Shu!

His back was drenched with cold sweat and his eyes were wide open when he saw how close to death he was.

As of now, the sabre was touching his brow and broke the skin causing blood to spill… but that was all it did.

Long Di held back the killing blow and even restrained the lightning qi the sabre normally manifested as he expressionlessly stared deep into the elder’s eyes.

“Are you gonna tell me what you wish to tell me in a possible exchange for your life, or are you gonna keep staring deep into my eyes? I have been told they’re mesmerising.”

Lies!

The elder didn’t say this though and forced himself to calm down. “You won’t kill me when I tell you?”

“Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. I’ve been diagnosed as clinically insane, so you can go ahead and tip that Jenga tower all you want.”

The elder stared at Long Di for some proof that he would or wouldn’t keep his promise, but the boy gave nothing away!

“Sighs…”

He let loose a held breath and stared at the ground before saying. “There is a recently discovered ruin that’s just about to open. It’s said to have belonged to a True Star Sage.”

“Hm, not as interesting as I thought it was,” said Long Di. The lightning that was absent the sabre this entire time was slowly being released.

“It’s worth your time I swear! This Sage is rumoured to be a follower of Peach Blossom Venerate!”

Long Di’s body trembled and a modicum of interest appeared in his eyes.

“Well, colour me interested.” Long Di took a seat and put his leg over the other as he faced the old man.

“Where’d you get the chai—?”

“Do… go on.”

Again, I am using Google translate so take what I give you with a grain of salt. It’s roughly the same with the other young disciples.]
