PHA - Chapter 243 - Double Agent Alice

With the help of the Gryffin Kingdom's teleportation array, Alice and Co arrived at the demon realm smoothly and safely. Throughout the entire process, Hatter had not asked Alice why she was going to the demon realm even once, his behavior showing that he placed considerable trust in Alice.

"So, this is the demon realm?" Zauna muttered as she walked out of the teleportation array with Alice. To hide the fact that she was human, she had worn a pair of light-red horns on her head, giving her the appearance of a demon. "Everything looks normal at first glance, but you can really feel the polluted mana in the air. I'm having trouble getting used to it."

"A large part of why the demons have been eyeing the human realm's territory is because of this polluted mana. So, it's normal that you'll find it unpleasant," Luna said. She might have spent her entire life living in the human world, but she had learned many things about the demon realm while working for the Gryffin Kingdom's intelligence department.

"If you put it like that, the demons are truly pitiful. I'm suddenly feeling a little sympathetic to them," Lalu said, her disguise being a small, red tail attached to her hip.

Out of their group of four, Lalu found it most difficult to adapt to the demon realm's mana because she had lived in the Elven Forest's clean environment since she was young. So, the demon realm's polluted mana made her feel incredibly uncomfortable. However, because of this situation, Lalu's hatred toward demons, which had been carved into the bones of all elves, had lessened significantly.

"By the way, why is it so dark here? Is it going to rain?" Zauna asked as she looked up at the sky. Even though she couldn't see any clouds, the sky still looked dusky.

"This is considered a bright and sunny day in the demon realm. It won't get any brighter than this," Alice said while messaging her GPS coordinates to Heris.
