At seven or eight o'clock in the evening, the crescent moon was suspended high in the dark blue sky.

Xing Mo and Aurora rode a carriage to the Docklands, which are located at the edge of the Northern District.

From the streets of the Docklands, you can see short bungalows spread all over the coast, and further away there are clusters of large factories with tall and thin gray chimneys.

Under the moonlight, the lined up shadows cast by the chimneys resemble a prison's iron gates, as if to imprison the houses in the Docklands forever.

Standing by a street, Xing Mo looked around. It is time for the factories to close. Groups of workers are walking down the street, their eyes dull and spiritless

From time to time, Xing Mo heard mutterings riding the wind.

"Goddess, watch over me... Goddess, watch over me..."

Upon hearing the mutterings of the workers, Aurora smiled and pulled at Xing Mo's skirt: "What of your Goddess? Don't they need salvation?"

"According to the Goddess, suffering is bricks and tiles that pave the way for achieving Great Harmony." Xing Mo revealed a shade of hesitation in her eyes, "When that time arrives, everyone will..."

"Everyone will what?"

"... will be saved?"

Xing Mo lacked conviction. In fact, it has always been hard for her to accept the state of the Docklands.

This is the Citadel, the nation of the Goddesses. But those people are unlike humans. They look more like pack animals.

Upon hearing Xing Mo's words, Aurora showed a broad smile: "That's really troublesome. I can save them now~ why don't you convince them to believe in me?"

Xing Mo sighed: "Don't forget why we came here in the middle of the night. We need to find Blackwood."

In the Starsea Spring's mirage, the last clue Bishop Freyr left behind was Blackwood.

As a Bell Protector, Xing Mo naturally knows what this name means.

Blackwood is a ringleader of the Docklands. He is a pure blood Machiavellian with considerable influence in the Citadel's underbelly.

"Then let's hurry~" Aurora grabbed Xing Mo's hand, "Young Sain
