Qin Yu barely got up from the ground when he heard a shout from Team 2 through his ear mic, “Two people just ran out from the house. They are running toward Mapleforest Street. Our location is a bit far, it’ll be hard to give chase.”

“Two? Are you sure?” Qin Yu replied with reddened eyes.

“Positive, two.”

“Everyone, hear me. Begin heading toward Mapleforest Street to chase the targets!” Qin Yu shouted. “We have casualties, so we must catch the main target by hook or by crook. Otherwise, their sacrifice will be in vain!”

“Car 2 copied,” Qi Lin’s voice sounded through the walkie talkie.

“The targets are heading in your direction,” Qin Yu instructed very quickly. “There are two of them. Without putting yourself at risk, try to stall them as long as you can. We already have casualties. If you can drag them for ten seconds or so, we’ll be able to reach where you are.”

Qi Lin was taken aback.

“Do you copy?” Qin Yu repeated again anxiously.

“C-copy that!” Qi Lin replied nervously.

“Keep in contact, we’ll be right there!”

As Qin Yu spoke, he had already left the alley and got onto a police car, which had just driven over, together with Old Cat.
