SD9 - Chapter 151: Dawn of a New Dynasty in the Yuan Family

Ever since Zhang Tian’s bitter death, Baldie hadn’t been able to get himself interested in anything that was happening within the company. The glorious subject who had paved the way for the rise of a new leader seemed to have suddenly lost his fighting will. Whenever anyone sought his opinion for something, Baldie would always respond unenthusiastically, “I’m not feeling well recently. If there are any issues, you should consult Yuan Ke. Go on with it if he agrees with it, or else continue negotiating with him.”

Had Zhang Tian not died and Baldie not stepped back, Yuan Ke’s actions would have surely brought about great backlash from the veterans. However, with one of them dead and the other one showing a lack of concern about the company, the veterans found themselves feeling utterly unconfident about standing against Yuan Ke. They felt like a horrible plight could befall them if they were to step forward at a time like this.

As such, they could only watch helplessly as Yuan Ke brought about great changes within the company.
