Snow-Kissed Rose (GL) Chapter 95.2

As it wasn't convenient to talk outside, Huai Xu exchanged contact information with Jia Yi.

When Jia Yi left, it was as if a flood or a savage beast was at his heels, moving with hurried steps and never looking back.

Huai Xu silently scoffed at this sight.

In Huai Xu's previous life, Fu Shu's manager was one of the breakthrough points she had found. Fu Shu had been under Jia Yi's wing since entering the entertainment industry and had trusted the scoundrel immensely, a trust that ultimately led to his downfall.

This morning, the moment Fu Shu threatened her, Huai Xu knew there would be no peace between them in the future. Thus, she decided to use Jia Yi to her advantage.

As for the "toxic solo fan" incident, Huai Xu didn't actually have concrete evidence to prove Fu Shu and Jia Yi's involvement. She had simply surmised it through Jia Yi's guilt and evasiveness, and sure enough, she easily got him to spill the beans with a simple bluff.

Huai Xu's expression grew cold as she put away her phone and made her way to the cafe where Song Yingshi and the others were.

Just as Huai Xu turned the corner, her eyes saw something that made her pause.

Song Yingshi leaned against the wall, her posture bold and dashing, her profile silhouetted against the light, showing a hint of depth. As she looked at Huai Xu, she revealed a meaningful smile and said, "You really like to go missing, don't you? One moment I look away, and you've disappeared."

In the distance, the operations manager hurriedly approached the PD with a tablet, saying, "PD, that segment just now is getting a lot of buzz online. It's already trending, and its ranking is still rising."

After the unexpected incident with the obsessive solo fan, the production crew profusely apologized to Song Yingshi and Huai Xu for their oversight. But because the risk of such incidents was stipulated in the contract, communication between the two parties was relatively harmonious.

However, since the incident was broadcast live, the production crew needed to carefully monitor public opinion.

At this point, Snow-Kissed Rose's popularity had spread nationwide, so any news involving them would quickly attract a lot of attention. While some might find the toxic solo fan's double-standard behavior amusing and regard it as entertainment, it was a completely different story for those who detested toxic solo fans and felt sympathy for their idols.

"Song Yingshi's and Huai Xu's solo fans and CP fans are demanding an explanation from us. Our official Weibo account's latest post has already received over 10,000 comments," the operations manager reported.

The operations manager felt very frustrated by this incident. She was an avid spectator of Star of Spring, and she could be considered a casual Snow-Kissed Rose fan. She had also heard about the divide between Snow-Kissed Rose's solo fans and CP fans. Hence, she never imagined these three parties would one day unite on a single front. Moreover, it was even because of her own production crew!

At the operations manager's report, the PD quickly grabbed the tablet and scanned the online sentiment.

Spring Star Fans: "My Life's Journey, I see someone's growing bold #smile. First, you let our precious babies get bullied in the comments. Now, you're even letting toxic solo fans bully them in person? Whoever goes on your show in the future must have a lot of courage."

Willows: "Toxic solo fans are not fans. Our family doesn't accept trash. Production crew, give us an explanation. Are you sacrificing Huai Xu for publicity?"

Orioles: "My baby is so unfortunate. Thankfully, Huai Xu didn't do anything stupid, though I guess she's a victim of this situation as well. Production crew, step forward and take the blame."

CP Fans: "The 'sugar' squeezed out by the toxic solo fan is both sweet and heartbreaking. Although Mommy's glad to see her two babies covering each other, Mommy's heart still aches a lot, boo-hoo-hoo. @MyLifesJourney, alive? Apologize to my babies."

PD: "..."

I can understand the others, but do you CP fans have no shame?! You're enjoying the fan service while simultaneously cursing us?!

Although the PD was frustrated to see netizens directing their anger toward the show, what lay behind all these angry comments?

Popularity!

Furthermore, this situation had much greater potential than Fu Shu's distorted face GIF.

After a second of dejection, the PD's eyebrows shot up as he said, "Draft the apology statement and publish it as soon as it's ready. Check it multiple times, and make it sincere. Also, where's Producer Xu? Tell him to meet me to discuss tonight's schedule."

After the sunset, the guests enjoyed the evening view for a while before returning to the villa.

The villa's river view was beautiful at night, made even better by tonight's full moon.

On the way back, Hu Feng, Zhu Zi, and Chen Wan bought groceries for dinner. Upon entering the villa, they promptly disappeared into the kitchen, eager to show off their culinary skills.

Huai Xu chose not to join the bustling scene. Instead, she headed upstairs, saying, "I'm going to take a shower."

The female guests were assigned rooms on the second and third floors. This villa was renovated with company team buildings in mind, so it had many small rooms, more than enough for each guest to have a room of their own. As Huai Xu made her way upstairs, she remembered that her room was diagonally opposite Song Yingshi's.

Ten minutes after Huai Xu went upstairs, Song Yingshi finished helping out with ingredient prep. After washing her hands, she disappeared upstairs as well.

Currently, the camera was focused on the kitchen, so the audience didn't see Song Yingshi's departure. It wasn't until the camera panned around the first floor a while later that the audience noticed she was missing.

[Where's Song Yingshi??]

[She disappeared with Huai Xu. What a coincidence.]

Upstairs, Song Yingshi stopped outside Huai Xu's room and considered knocking on the door. However, when she recalled Huai Xu mentioning she was going to shower, she briefly hesitated before continuing to her room.

When Song Yingshi opened the door to her room, before she could even see anything, she heard a voice coming from inside, "Close the door on your way in, thanks."

Song Yingshi: ?

Song Yingshi closed the door as requested and approached the bed. There, Huai Xu sat cross-legged, freshly dressed, the ends of her hair still damp and shimmering with moisture from her shower. Her eyelashes, too, glistened with a fine sheen.

Gazing in the bathroom's direction, Song Yingshi asked, "Did you enter the wrong room?"

Huai Xu rolled her eyes at this question, saying, "Yes, yes, I'm particularly used to sleeping in your room."

"Exactly," Song Yingshi said smugly. After her moment of pride, she sat down on the bed, leaned against Huai Xu's body, and said, "What's the scent of the body wash they provided? It smells so good."

Huai Xu looked down at the person leaning against her and sniffing her like a puppy. She gently rubbed the back of Song Yingshi's neck, subtly exposing more of it.

As their breaths intertwined, Song Yingshi murmured, "Is it jasmine?"

"Probably?" Huai Xu replied, her voice sounding lower and tinged with moisture.

"It also smells a bit like yuzu," Song Yingshi whispered, softly exhaling on the back of Huai Xu's still-damp ear. Simultaneously, the tip of her nose lightly brushed against Huai Xu's skin.

Huai Xu gulped. But when she recalled the purpose of this trip, she composed herself and gently pushed Song Yingshi away, saying, "Alright, don't—"

Before Huai Xu could finish, Song Yingshi nudged her like a large dog, her actions innocent and playful.

Huai Xu lost her balance and fell back onto the pillow pile. Consequently, Song Yingshi lay on top of her, then proceeded to bite down on the back of her neck.

Huai Xu hissed softly, but she didn't push Song Yingshi away. On the contrary, she wrapped her arms around Song Yingshi tightly and whispered, "Did you really turn into a puppy?"

As the bitten area started to tingle with a lingering warmth, Huai Xu's pupils darkened, and she used the tip of her nose to playfully hook Song Yingshi's jaw. Intimately, she said, "Little puppy, take a few more bites."

Song Yingshi, seemingly having thought of something, rolled off Huai Xu's body and let out a muffled laugh beside Huai Xu's ear.

Huai Xu had yet to sense anything amiss. She curled her right leg, subtly nudging and urging Song Yingshi with her knee.

Suddenly, Song Yingshi rolled back onto Huai Xu's body and clamped down on Huai Xu's waist with her thighs. As she looked down, her eyes sparkled with youthful vigor, while her expression radiated the charm of an adult woman.

As Huai Xu was mesmerized by the sight before her, she heard Song Yingshi's voice asking, "Do you want to be bitten so badly?"
