Necromancer: I Am A Disaster Chapter 250 - Divine Selection Secret Realm; Tripod Cauldron

The entrance to the Divine Selection Secret Realm, hidden between two towering rocks and emitting a faint glow, stood just two meters tall and wide. In the vibrant and chaotic colors of the Immemorial Battlefield, it was nearly inconspicuous—easy to overlook without careful observation.

When Lin Moyu and Mo Yun arrived, they quickly understood why Jiang Hanshan and his party had noticed it. Nearby, the earth showed signs of recent combat.

The Immemorial Battlefield's land had a remarkable ability to repair itself. No matter how fierce the battles or extensive the damage, the ground would return to its original state over time.

"There must have been a boss here." Mo Yun analyzed quickly, "Jiang Hanshan and his party likely discovered the Divine Selection Secret Realm while fighting it. They've probably entered the Divine Selection Secret Realm before, which means they can't enter again. Luckily, no one else has been here in the past few days."

Lin Moyu acknowledged with a brief sound, "Let's go in."

Mo Yun nodded, and together they stepped into the Divine Selection Secret Realm. As soon as they entered, the entrance began to warp and then disappeared like a bubble.

Each time someone entered the Divine Selection Secret Realm, the entrance vanished, reappearing elsewhere after two days. If no one entered, it would remain in the same location for ten days before relocating.

Lin Moyu and Mo Yun underwent a long teleportation before landing on separate platforms, only half a meter apart but divided by an invisible force. They could see and hear each other, but crossing between platforms was impossible.

Their surroundings were awash with brilliant blue light, reminiscent of crashing waves. Two blue paths stretched out before them, shooting straight into a blue sky dotted with white clouds.

Upon stepping onto the platform, all equipment attributes were nullified. Lin Moyu's skeletons returned to the summoning space, leaving him to realize that in this place, they could only rely on themselves—no external forces were allowed.

The same applied to Mo Yun; her Holy Spirit Unicorn had also vanished.

However, Lin Moyu noticed that the Primordial Rune on his hand was still usable, seemingly unaffected by the Secret Realm's restrictions.

"How much do you know about the Divine Selection Secret Realm?" Lin Moyu asked.

Mo Yun, coming from a prestigious family with access to abundant information, replied, "The Divine Selection Secret Realm is straightforward. The elders of my family gave only one piece of advice: push forward with all your strength and never take a step back."

"Push forward with all your strength and never take a step back." Lin Moyu recalled that Bai Yiyuan had told him the same.

In the Divine Selection Secret Realm, even if 100 people entered, they might each face entirely different challenges. Thus, Bai Yiyuan's experience offered little direct guidance to Lin Moyu. The only constant was the necessity to push forward relentlessly.

Mo Yun smiled, "I'm going!"

She stepped onto the blue path, and the platform behind her vanished, cutting off any possibility of retreat. Stepping back would mean exiting the secret realm—she would never be able to enter again. The only way was forward.

Lin Moyu took a deep breath and followed suit, stepping onto the path in front of him. Instantly, a pressure descended upon him, reaching deep into his soul. It was a spiritual pressure, urging him to turn back.

But Lin Moyu dismissed the voice in his head with a thought.

As a Mage-type class user, Lin Moyu knew that his strength, agility, and physique were not exceptional, especially compared to Warrior-type class users. His sole strong point was his spirit, and the Divine Selection Secret Realm seemed to target this very attribute.

The pressure varied according to the level of the class user. As a level 41 Summoner—a Mage-type class with high spirit but weak other attributes—Mo Yun had to endure much greater pressure than Lin Moyu.

Despite the waves of pressure crashing down on him, Lin Moyu felt as if he were strolling in a gentle breeze. His spirit force, bolstered by Soul Crystals from 4,000 to an impressive 19,000, made the pressure almost negligible, placing him far above other level 30 Mage-type class users.

"If it weren't for the Soul Crystals, which boosted my spirit force by a large margin, I wouldn't be feeling so relaxed right now."

The pressure exerted by the Divine Selection Secret Realm was calibrated for a typical level 30 Mage-type class user. As a result, Lin Moyu felt almost no strain.

Through the blue curtain of light, Lin Moyu could see Mo Yun struggling on her path. Suddenly, she stopped halfway.

"What's happening?" Lin Moyu wondered as he continued until he too reached the halfway point.

Before him, he saw golden strands dancing on the thread-like path. Simultaneously, a set of steps materialized before him.

Lin Moyu paused and looked up.

There were exactly 500 steps, each step adorned with golden strands of energy. The number of strands increased every 100 steps. The golden strands exuded a unique, magical energy—they were divinity energy.

Below the 101st step, each step held a single strand. Starting from the 101st step, there were two strands per step. From the 201st step, three strands appeared. From the 301st step, there were four strands, and for the final 100 steps, there were five strands per step.

The first half of the passage was just a basic test; the real challenge began now.

"It is exactly as Teacher said." Lin Moyu thought, "At least 100 strands of divinity energy are required to form a complete Divinity. My goal is to gather at least 100 strands."

If he could obtain a complete Divinity, the probability of his class sublimating would rise to 90%.

"Lin Moyu!" Mo Yun's voice came from the other path. "100 strands of divinity energy can form a complete Divinity, but that's the weakest form. If you can collect more, the Divinity will grow stronger, providing greater benefits. Do you see that tripod cauldron up there?"

Lin Moyu looked up and spotted a large tripod cauldron, then couldn't help but be stunned.

The cauldron resembled an ancient Chinese tripod cauldron, and with the rune he had obtained before, Lin Moyu felt an irresistible urge to investigate.

"It's said that reaching the tripod cauldron increases the probability of class sublimation during the third awakening to 80%."

Mo Yun harbored high aspirations—she wouldn't have spent so much time searching for the Blackened Soul Crystal otherwise. Her current goal was to sublimate her class during her third awakening and ascend to the ranks of high-tier legendary class users.

"Thank you, I'll do my best!" Lin Moyu responded.

Mo Yun clenched her small fists, "Good luck!"

"You too!"

Beyond the Divinity and class sublimation, the mere presence of the tripod cauldron filled Lin Moyu with determination. He looked up at the cauldron at the top of the steps, gleaming with dazzling light, surrounded by a tremendous amount of divinity energy.

Lin Moyu lifted his leg and stepped onto the 1st step.

Boom!

A loud rumble echoed as the pressure intensified, like a tsunami pushing against him. But Lin Moyu just grunted and stood firm, not budging an inch.

The path behind him had disappeared, replaced by an exit. Stepping back would mean leaving the Divine Selection Secret Realm.

After steadying himself, a strand of divinity energy entered his body. Lin Moyu felt like he had gained something, but noticed no immediate change in his properties. A single strand wasn't enough to make a difference.

Lin Moyu began ascending the steps, moving quickly and confidently. With his spirit attribute far beyond that of a typical level 30 Mage-type class user, the pressure had little effect on him.
