Necromancer: I Am A Disaster Chapter 18 - Skeletal Warriors Can Serve As Tanks

Lin Moyu sensed the approaching intruders through his Skeletal Warriors. Along with the Archer and Mage he had encountered earlier, there was now a Knight wielding a sword and shield. The three people moved in from different directions, encircling them.

Ning Yiyi frowned, her delicate features tightening in frustration. "They just won't give up, will they? It's just an Intermediate Skill Scroll, yet they've been chasing me for days." She grumbled.

Stomping her foot, Ning Yiyi turned to Lin Moyu, "I'm leaving. If I get the chance later, I'll come find you."

Whoosh!

Suddenly, an arrow shot out from the darkness. Ning Yiyi reacted swiftly, dodging to the side just in a flash. The arrow exploded midair, splitting into two streams of light that targeted both her and Lin Moyu. A glaring mark appeared above their heads, glowing like a beacon in the night.

"Damn, a Marking Arrow!" Ning Yiyi's face paled, realizing the gravity of their situation.

Lin Moyu recalled what he knew about the Marking Arrow. It was a skill that allowed Archers to mark their targets, making it impossible to enter stealth. It was particularly effective against Assassin-type classes, preventing them from using their stealth skills. This skill was also useful in dungeons against stealth monsters.

"You won't escape this time." A cold voice sneered, and the Mage stepped into the open. The Archer perched on a nearby tree, while the Knight advanced steadily from another direction, tightening the encirclement.

The Mage tightened his grip on his stave, his gaze icy as it swept over Lin Moyu and Ning Yiyi, "I knew you two were together. A sneaky Assassin paired with a vile undead Summoner. What a match."

A faint light flashed in Ning Yiyi's hand as a green-tinged dagger appeared. "He has nothing to do with this." She said firmly, "I'll give you the scroll, and we can go our separate ways."

The Archer chuckled from his vantage point, "Maybe that would've worked yesterday, but today? It's safer to kill you both."
