Their movements were sharper and more decisive. They would reflexively queue up when buying food or heading into places. They also placed their weapons in a way that allowed them to immediately draw them.

The habits that had been inculcated in them through war spilled over into their daily life, but gone were the days they had to draw their swords every day, and there weren’t tense expressions on their faces anymore.

Since the battle half a year ago, the tides had completely turned in humankind’s favor.
