TOOLATE - Book 06 Chapter 066.1: Heads Delivered from Afar, Part 1

Bang! Chen Heng had just spoken when another sniper rifle shot rang out. This time, the gunshot was different from before. The shots that hit Chen Heng and Jeanne d’Arc earlier were from a Kar98k, but this time, it was an AWM.

“Be careful! They have an AWM that just blew my level 3 helmet. Ryougi Shiki, resuscitate me!”

“Alright, Medusa.”

Hmm…to think the enemy has an AWM. This could be troublesome.

The AWM is the most powerful sniper rifle in this game, capable of a one-shot kill even through level 3 helmets. If you hit someone in the hand or foot, the damage reduction mechanism might save them, but the damage would still be extremely high.

Chen Heng felt a bit vulnerable now, fearing that the opponent might finish him off with another shot.

Once Chen Heng’s health had fully recovered, he sprang out of the car and dived into a nearby building through a window. The enemy noticed this acrobatic move, as evidenced by the sound of a Kar98k shot that barely missed him.

Yes, just a close call. The bullet from the Kar98k hit the window frame, only about 30 or 40 centimeters away from Chen Heng. It didn’t seem like the work of the skilled sniper who had previously shot him in the head.

After successfully vaulting into the room without any mishaps, Chen Heng immediately moved away from the window, taking cover in a spot across the room where he couldn’t be shot easily.

“Considering the situation just now, it seems the two players across from us swapped guns. The one with the Kar98k originally had excellent marksmanship, but that shot at me was quite off.”

“So, what’s our plan?” one of his teammates asked.

“Could any of you swap guns with me? I’m planning to get close and take shots at them shortly. However, both of my rifles are snipers. The only pistol I have is a Skorpion pistol. It has a high rate of fire but won’t be enough to take down two players in one burst.” Chen
