An illusionary screen suddenly appeared out of nowhere, startling Chen Heng. Although he had known he would receive an invitation to join the Dimension Administrators Association soon, the way the invitation appeared still startled him.

There were two buttons below this row of words: “Yes” and “YES.”

[TL Note: One of the “Yes” options above was in Chinese, while the other was in English. I presented both in English, the difference being capitalization rather than English. However, the point is still conveyed: Chen Heng can only choose yes, and there isn’t a no option.]

Huh? What is the difference between these two choices?

The male physics teacher standing at the podium pushed up his glasses. When he saw Chen Heng, who had let out a sudden yelp, he asked with an upset expression, “Student Chen Heng, do you have any questions?”

“I don’t. Sorry, Teacher. I saw a bug earlier, and I have already crushed it.”

The physics teacher appeared skeptical. However, he did not think much of it since Chen Heng apologized. “Alright. Student Chen Heng, sit back down and pay attention to the lecture. Let’s continue the lesson. We were talking about…”

After Chen Heng sat down, he kept staring at this illusionary screen. Then, he tapped the button for “Yes” in the air. Then…nothing happened.

His classmate beside him saw him frantically tapping the air like an idiot. Although Chen Heng tried tapping both “Yes” and “YES,” nothing happened, either.

What is this broken thing? Don’t tell me it is voice-activated?

“Yes,” Chen Heng whispered.

“What yes? Little Heng, did you take the wrong medicine today?” the classmate seated at the same table asked.

“Shut up.”

Welcome, He Who Knows Fate, to this association! The standard synthesized voice completely extinguished any thought of arguing in Chen Heng.
