I'll Still Love You Tomorrow Chapter 48: What About the Blind Date?

Lu Jingyan wasn’t sure when Sheng Xian left, she only knew that when she woke up, she was the only one in the master bedroom.

If it wasn’t for the lights and the bedspreads covering her, she would have suspected he hadn’t come at all.

The room was very quiet, the dim lights perfect for sleeping but she couldn’t sleep at all.

She didn’t know why she was so excited, it felt as though she was caffeinated and filled with energy.

She kept giggling like a little madwoman.

“Sleep, little fish.”

“Little fish.”

Lu Jingyan imitated Sheng Xian’s words a few times and rolled around in the sheets. She buried her head in the pillow and kicked enthusiastically.

After half an hour of excitement, she finally regained her calm.

She never imagined he would take her home.

Even though Sheng Xian didn’t ask anything, she had a feeling he had seen through her lies.

She also suspected that he didn’t probe because he knew she didn’t wish to tell him.

He was very considerate and knew how to give her space.

His type was the most lethal.

Lu Jingyan was suddenly reminded of what Song Xian had said to her, “Baby Yan, you didn’t meet your match, you met your Nemesis.”

Back then, she felt like she had met her Nemesis.

Lu Jingyan suddenly became melancholy and couldn’t help sighing.

Now that she thought about it, it wasn’t just a feeling.

She had indeed met her Nemesis.

Lu Jingyan slept till almost noon the next day.

When she opened her eyes to the unfamiliar environment, she became moodier than normal. After taking a few seconds, she remembered it was Sheng Xian’s house and she instantly felt energized, ripping the bed sheets off and heading to the bathroom.

After a shower, Lu Jingyan walked out of the master bedroom.

The doors to the other bedroom and study room were both open but Sheng Xian wasn’t inside. Lu Jingyan walked to the living room and saw her clothes on the sofa. Sheng Xian had washed, dried and folded them into a neat pile.

She walked over, took her clothes and sniffed it. She then glanced around, trying to find Sheng Xian.
