In Antarctica, an icebreaker with flags of various countries was coasting through the frozen crust, leaving a channel of water in its wake.

Above the sky, there were planes flying and surveying the place.

“Captain, why are there suddenly so many icebreakers going to Antarctica? Is this some kind of important mission? Or has something mysterious been found there?”

A crew member on an icebreaker asked the captain excitedly.

He was standing inside the captain’s cabin and looked around. At the age of twenty, he was still curious about everything, especially when supernatural events began to occur. Many young people had dreams of reaching the sky, and so did this young man, who was chattering happily and even began to imagine that there was some mysterious item waiting for the right person on the continent of Antarctica. Perhaps said the person was him.

But the captain’s words made him wilt.

“Your authority level is not enough. There are some things that are not for you to know.”

The captain of the icebreaker also barely had enough level to be able to transport supplies to the Antarctic.

A month ago, there was an extraterrestrial meteorite that descended and almost destroyed the human race on Earth.

For ordinary people, that extraterrestrial event was already over, but for people in the know, they knew that Earth’s suffering had just begun.

The captain of the icebreaker was someone who had only recently learned the details of past developments. For example, he knew that the big fuss in Los Angeles a month ago was caused by one of those fragments that fell on Earth. He also learned that there was more than one piece which made him vaguely afraid.

This news needed to be kept a secret from the general public, but the governments could not turn a blind eye. The United Nations was now hoping that the remaining fragments would not transform into monsters and that even if they did, that they would be easier to handle than Typhon.

The only good news was that an angel was recently born on Earth during Christ’s ascens
