I, The Dragon Overlord Chapter 438 - Hawaii Is Probably Safe

The Hawaiian Islands, formed by a series of volcanic eruptions, were treated as a single state within the USA. Hawaii itself was the largest island in this zone, and the entire archipelago was located in the center of the Pacific Ocean.

The capital of Hawaii was Honolulu on the island of Oahu with a population of one million. The island’s cities were modern with a strong American character. The entire island also provided military service for the United States Pacific Fleet.

Hawaii had always been a world-renowned tourist mecca, and Honolulu was one of the main destinations.

No matter what time of the year it was, there were travelers from all over the world on Oahu.

At the international airport south of Honolulu, a Boeing 787 landed. With the airport announcement, a group of travelers wearing the same style of baseball caps with several guides holding small flags stepped off the plane and came to the baggage office to pick up their luggage. Then they followed the guides out of the airport and onto the bus to their prepared hotel.

Supernatural powers had run rampant around the world and the extinction of mankind had been close at hand not long ago, but humans were very forgetful and eager to enjoy life. As long as the end of the world did not come today, then people would return to their normal daily lives.

Since the emergence of supernatural powers as well as ancient mythological figures, tourism was instead thriving.

No matter which country it was, young people were always fantasizing that they could be protagonists. They were full of excitement to touch on the tiny possibility of being lucky. Maybe they might encounter mysterious events if they were to go to temples or churches and gain extraordinary powers.

If this was still a conjecture in the past, it had now turned into conviction ever since the magic academy began recruiting students to teach humans how to use magic. Theorists had completely shut their mouths now that Earth’s mortals could use magic. This alone had dispelled all doubts.
