He Jiang held his heart in his hands until Shang Jing walked out of the cafe and stopped beside him.

Bo Ya flashed the both of them a smile. “I believe the filming for the variety show will resume tomorrow. Have a good rest, I’ll remember to tune into the live broadcast.”

Even though the statement sounded innocent, He Jiang could not help feeling the last sentence was a warning to him to not take advantage of Shang Jing during the live broadcast.

He Jiang’s eyebrow twitched. Returning the gesture, he said, “Brother, have a good rest too. Come over for a meal sometime.”

He Jiang followed suit and watched Shang Jing put on his seat belt. “I didn’t mean to stay out last night. I had a drink too much and lost consciousness.”

“It was wrong of me to do so. I’ll not drink a single drop of alcohol outside from now on.”

Shang Jing was stunned by He Jiang’s words. After a pause, he said, “There’s no need for that.”

He Jiang stepped on the accelerator. “There is. Alcohol destroys lives.”

At home, He Jiang poured a cup of warm water for Shang Jing and sat him down on the sofa. In a serious tone, he said, “Since you’ve lost your memories, there’s one thing I’ve forgotten to make it very clear to you.”

Shang Jing looked at He Jiang with confusion.
