To prevent unrest, Long Zhanguo quickly executed everyone else in the Murong Clan.

Jiang Lianshan plotted for Murong Yan to leave the Qian Heavenly Dynasty and “flee” to the vicinity of the Heavenly Go Pavilion.

She met Old Mister Guan Qi because of a “coincidence.”

Initially, her mission was to attract Old Mister Guan Qi’s attention. However, he was overly obsessed with Go. Nothing she did worked; no matter what she tried, she could not pique Old Mister Guan Qi’s interest.

Murong Yan had an innocent personality. Her acting could not fool Long Zhanguo or Old Mister Guan Qi. However, her kindness eventually attracted Old Mister Guan Qi.

As Murong Yan gave her all, she also discovered Old Mister Guan Qi’s kindness. All unawares, she eventually fell in love with Old Mister Guan Qi.

The two’s feelings for each other intensified. Eventually, they married.

Hey everyone, it saddens me to say that I'm going to have to reduce the release rate of EIF further as I'm finding keeping up quite difficult. However, lowering EIF to 5 chapters a week has been part of the plans anyway, and in exchange I will increase the release rates to 7 chapters a week. So what difference does that make? Toolate is easier to translate and slightly shorter, making it easier to keep up with. Anyway, I'm feeling slightly burned out too, and the lack of an income has also been demoralizing. So I'll be sticking to 5 chapters a week for both EIF and TOOLATE for a month or two, then I will bump TOOLATE to 7 chapters/week after some rest.
