EIF - Book 06 Chapter 040: The Strong Gu Hai

A large hole broke open in the Western Sea Dragon Palace’s barrier. Boundless water poured in from the Western Sea, resulting in torrential rain in the Western Sea Dragon Palace. The buildings near the hole got inundated.

Heavy rain also fell at the dragon’s gate’s area. There was already a layer of water covering the ground.

Many of the Wu Nation officials and dragons gathered outside; they did not dare to enter.

Gu Hai fought Di Shitian in a fierce battle. When the two’s palms pressed against each other, Gu Hai firmly suppressed Di Shitian.

“How did you cultivate your physical body?!” Di Shitian goggled in disbelief.

“Di Shitian, it’s time for you to retreat,” Gu Hai snarled ferociously.

As the two were deadlocked, cold energy shot over from behind Gu Hai.

“Your Reverence!” Shangguan Hen cried out.

Shangguan Hen did not hesitate to use the tortoiseshell on its back to shield Gu Hai.

A profound tortoise possessed formidable defenses. No matter what Ao Sheng did earlier, the black dragon could not get past them.

However, Long Shenwu’s sword strike was too powerful.

Shing!

The sword pierced through the profound tortoise.

“Huh? How can this be?” Blood spewed out of Shangguan Hen’s mouth as it showed an expression of disbelief.

Boom!

Even after piercing through the profound tortoise, the sword did not lose any speed, continuing toward Gu Hai.

“Your Reverence!” Shangguan Hen roared.

Boom!

The tortoise’s body spun around and moved towards Gu Hai.

“Huh?” Gu Hai’s expression changed.

Boom!

Gu Hai hastily knocked Di Shitian away. Then, he dodged the sword strike.

“Humph! You spoiled our plans. Humph!” Long Shenwu shouted furiously as the sword in his hand trembled.

“Don’t!” The expressions of Gu Hai and Chang Ming changed.

Di Shitian suddenly showed an uncertain look in his eyes.

Boom!

Shangguan Hen’s body exploded, blasted to pieces.

Gu Hai immediately rushed forward and grabbed Shangguan Hen’s head.

“Prime Shangguan!” Chang Ming exclaimed in the distance.

Whoosh!
