Everlasting Immortal Firmament Book 05 Chapter 179: Azure Lotus Young Master, Sha

On the deck, Gu Hai glared at Xuan En. “Do you still remember us?”

“Why are you here? Why are you here?” Xuan En exclaimed in alarm.

The near-death experience at Gu Hai’s hands remained fresh in Xuan En’s memory. He felt both fear and hatred for Gu Hai. Nothing good ever happens when I meet Gu Hai. Why is he here?

Suddenly, Xuan En saw the chameleon spirit next to Gu Hai.

“You evil creature! It’s you!” Xuan En exclaimed while glaring.

“El-elder, I’m innocent!” the chameleon spirit stuttered in horror.

Suddenly, Gu Hai lowered his head and looked at Zang Yulian, who sat cross-legged.

“Supreme Ascendant, it has been a long time. It looks like they do not feel grateful for your kindness in saving them back then,” Gu Hai said.

Now, Zang Yulian regained her icy gaze. “Humph! Gu Hai, how dare you show up before me again?!”

“Let’s deal with any grudge or hatred you have later. Let me deal with these vile ingrates first,” Gu Hai said indifferently.

As Gu Hai spoke, he waved his hand.

“Yes!” Ao Shun answered.

Boom!

Ao Shun immediately rushed out, charging at the Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples.

“Oh no! Leave quickly!”

“Save me!”

“No!”

The expressions of the Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples changed as they scattered in all directions.

The moment they saw Gu Hai, they knew things were bad. Gu Hai had nearly killed them previously. Now that he was here, everyone knew he would not spare them this time, so they immediately fled.

However, Ao Shun was an Upper Heavenly Palace Realm cultivator, after all, even if he was not comparable to Lu Ya or the Mosquito Daoist. At Gu Hai’s command, he turned into a beam of light and instantly appeared in front of a Supreme Ascendant Dao disciple.

Shing!

Boom!

When Ao Shun swung his sword, he immediately cleaved that Supreme Ascendant Dao disciple in half. That disciple’s body parted as he fell from the sky.

It was not just one Supreme Ascendant Dao disciple. Ao Shun had chopped down eight of them in an instant. Limbs, body parts, and blood were strewn all over the place.

The expressions of those fleeing changed immediately.

“Upper Heavenly Palace Realm? He is indeed an Upper Heavenly Palace Realm cultivator!” the surrounding Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples exclaimed.

Xuan En no longer cared about his severe injuries from Ao Shun’s palm strike. He quickly got up and fled into the distance.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

Even without the Heaven Blasting Battalion, Ao Shun still possessed destructive combat prowess. Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!

Close to one hundred Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples died in the blink of an eye.

Only eight Supreme Ascendant Dao elders managed to flee. They rushed off in eight different directions, immediately entering forests.

“Fleeing? Do you think you can flee?” Gu Hai snorted coldly.

Whoosh!

An overwhelming number of vines shot into the forest and grabbed the various Supreme Ascendant Dao elders.

“Oh no!”

“No!”

The eight Supreme Ascendant Dao’s elders screamed in horror as they got pulled back.

Shing!

Ao Shun flew over and chopped one down. Seven remained.

“Wait…” Zang Yulian frowned slightly, appearing like she could not bear for this to happen.

“Grand Mohist! Save me! We were wrong! We were wrong!”

“Grand Mohist! I was forced into this. Don’t kill me! I beg you, please! Grand Mohist, spare me!”

“Grand Mohist!”

Seven Middle Heavenly Palace Realm cultivators pleaded for mercy.

Zang Yulian wanted to say something, but Gu Hai smiled coldly and said, “Supreme Ascendant, don’t tell me you still want to save them? Saving them would just be harming people. If they can humiliate you like this now, they will bring harm and humiliation to many others in the future.”

Zang Yulian’s expression turned stiff. Then, she sighed softly.

“Die!” Ao Shun’s figure flashed, and he immediately killed another elder.

“Gu Hai, First Senior Brother Xuan Du will not let you off!” Xuan En yelled as countless vines surrounded him.

“You speak as though there would not be a grudge between Xuan Du and me if I don’t kill you,” Gu Hai sneered.

Xuan En’s expression changed, Gu Hai’s retort rendering him speechless.

On the other side, Ao Shun continued killing, taking down two more Supreme Ascendant Dao elders.

Now, only four elders remained. Ao Shun showed a cold gaze as he turned around and swung his sword at Xuan En.

“I…I won’t let you off, even if I have to become a ghost!” Xuan En roared with horror on his face.

“Ghost? We aren’t even afraid of you as a human. Would we be afraid of you as a ghost?” Ao Shun scoffed coldly.

Ao Shun swung his sword, about to kill Xuan En in the next instant.

Buzz!

Suddenly, a cool breeze blew. There seemed to be a sword amid the cool breeze, which instantly arrived before Ao Shun.

“Huh?” Ao Shun’s face sank.

Ding!

Ao Shun’s sword suddenly collided with that sword. He stepped back as he looked at the sword that had come out of nowhere.

Someone saved Xuan En?

Suddenly, an azure-robed man appeared in front of Xuan En.

“Killing this many Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples should be enough already,” the azure-robed man said indifferently.

“Upper Heavenly Palace Realm? Who are you?” Ao Shun’s face sank.

However, Gu Hai narrowed his eyes slightly. This azure-robed man seems familiar.

After the azure-robed man saved Xuan En, Xuan En’s eyes lit up as he cried out in joy, “Sword Envoy Qing Feng! Sword Envoy Qing Feng, save me! Quickly save me! Save me!”

“Sword Envoy Qing Feng is here?! Sword Envoy Qing Feng is here?! Save me! Save me!” the other three surviving Supreme Ascendant Dao elders cried out in elation.

Sword Envoy Qing Feng glanced coldly at Xuan En, then ignored him to look at a nearby peak.

A white-clad youth stood on the summit of that mountain. This youth carried a bronze sword on his back. Despite his young age, a cold sharpness shone in his eyes.

This youth had the mark of an azure lotus flower on his forehead, lending an enchanting cast to his countenance.

“Young Master!” Sword Envoy Qing Feng looked respectfully at the white-clad youth.

The white-clad youth looked coldly below.

“The Azure Lotus Young Master?” Zang Yulian said as her expression changed.

“Supreme Ascendant, how have you been?” the white-clad youth greeted.

After the greeting, the white-clad youth suddenly turned to Gu Hai.

“Gu Hai, it has been a long time. To think that you reached the Lower Heavenly Palace Realm in a mere ten years? Congratulations!” The white-clad youth showed a faint smile.

“Sha?” Gu Hai narrowed his eyes.

Sha wandered the world, seeking the strongest sword Dao as he challenged various experts. He had exchanged moves with Gu Hai back in Dragon Vein City. He was an expert of the Myriad Age Daoist Sect’s Heavenly Access’s line of inheritance.

“It looks like you have not forgotten me,” Sha said.

“Why are you here?” Gu Hai asked with a frown.

“Me? I have been standing here for quite some time already. However, their eyes were filled with desire, so they failed to see me,” Sha said indifferently.

“You have long been here?” Zang Yulian said with wide eyes.

“That’s right. Such a major thing happened within the Supreme Ascendant’s line of inheritance. Xuan Du even claimed that you betrayed the Myriad Age Daoist Sect. Sect Master Heavenly Access sent me to investigate, so I followed him. It looks like Xuan Du might not be trustworthy. You immediately came to help when you saw the Myriad Age Daoist Sect’s rescue signal. You have not betrayed the Myriad Age Daoist Sect,” Sha said indifferently.

“Then, you just kept watching earlier?” Zang Yulian said with a cold gaze.

“This is an internal matter of your Supreme Ascendant Dao. I should not interfere. I only need to investigate the truth. However, those Supreme Ascendant Dao disciples were indeed lacking in upbringing, so I let Gu Hai kill them,” Sha said indifferently.

Xuan En and the others shivered. Sha arrived long ago? He figured out our plot?

“Humph!” Zang Yulian snorted coldly.

“Oh? You let me kill him earlier. Why are you stopping me now?” Gu Hai asked.

“They are indeed deserving of death. However, I need to bring them back to Sect Master Heavenly Access to accomplish my mission. Having living witnesses is better than a bunch of corpses,” Sha replied indifferently.

“Right, right! I’ll follow you back. Azure Lotus Young Master, I’ll follow you! I’ll say everything. I’ll speak!” Xuan En immediately called out.

“I’ll go back! I’ll go back!”

“Many thanks, Azure Lotus Young Master!”

The four elders cried out anxiously.

Gu Hai glanced at Zang Yulian. Then, he turned to Sha. “Mission? Hah! I will leave a living witness for you. However, these four have to die!”

“Ao Shun, kill!” Gu Hai shouted.

“What?!” Xuan En’s expression changed.

“How dare you?!” Sword Envoy Qing Feng’s expression changed.

Ao Shun ignored Sword Envoy Qing Feng, immediately swinging his sword at another Supreme Ascendant Dao elder.

“How audacious!”

Boom!

Ao Shun chopped down that elder. The four elders were in four different directions; Sword Envoy Qing Feng could not protect them all.

Boom!

Countless sword qi appeared around Sword Envoy Qing Feng, chopping down on the vines. However, the vines seemed endless. Furthermore, Ao Shun was relentlessly attacking the captive elders. Sword Envoy Qing Feng could not protect them.

“Save me! Azure Lotus Young Master, save me!” Xuan En called out.

On the mountain peak, Sha’s white robes fluttered in the wind. His expression did not change at all as he watched Ao Shun and Qing Feng clash.

Ao Shun exploited the gaps in Qing Feng’s defenses to kill the elders. Now, he headed for Xuan En, the sole remaining elder.

“No! Save me! Sword Envoy Qing Feng, save me! I’ll give everything I have to you!” Xuan En cried out.

Boom!

Qing Feng’s sword clashed with Ao Shun’s. However, the two seemed evenly matched. Qing Feng already felt frustrated at failing to protect the other three. How could he let Ao Shun succeed?

The two started fighting each other.

“Excellent! Excellent! Sword Envoy Qing Feng, kill him!” Xuan En roared with a ferocious expression.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, the vines wrapped around Xuan En’s body pulled him towards Gu Hai.

Xuan En’s expression changed.

“Oh no! Sword Envoy Qing Feng, quickly save me! Save me!” Xuan En cried out in shock.

However, Ao Shun occupied Qing Feng.

Xuan En had already been severely injured by Ao Shun earlier. How could he defend against Gu Hai now?

The captive Xuan En immediately got pulled before Gu Hai.

Xuan En opened his mouth and spat a sword qi at Gu Hai’s face.

“Fifth Cycle!” Gu Hai swung the Life Executioner Saber while glaring.

Purple light lit the surroundings.

“No!” Xuan En’s cry of despair rang out.

Boom!

The sword qi that Xuan En spat out exploded, followed by him.

“You bastard!” Sword Envoy Qing Feng was livid. He broke away from Ao Shun after a final clash, glaring at Gu Hai.

“Hah…,” Zang Yulian sighed.

Ao Shun immediately flew back to Gu Hai, keeping his guard up as he eyed Sha.

Sha had been watching quietly. He had not even frowned at any time.

“Gu Hai, did you kill Xuan En for the Supreme Ascendant? Your anger has abated already, right?” Sha asked indifferently.

“Many thanks!” Gu Hai bowed slightly at Sha.

Sha could have stopped Gu Hai earlier. Gu Hai believed that Sha had the ability to do so. However, he had not taken action; he had not moved at all during this incident. Gu Hai needed to acknowledge this favor.

“These people deserved death. They should be killed. You have to turn in your mission to Sect Master Heavenly Access, so I left one alive for you. This chameleon spirit should know everything. Bringing him back should do it.” Gu Hai gestured to the chameleon spirit by his side.

At this moment, the chameleon trembled intensely, with horror on his face.

Gu Hai has already killed all the Supreme Ascendant Dao elders?

Novel Notes

Hi everyone! How are you all doing? Anyway, I'm here to ask for some help today. I recently discovered another grammar checker tool called prowritingaid and am switching over from Grammarly Premium to that cause it's been pretty buggy on my google docs. Anyway, apparently, Prowritingaid has a referral program that can help me save costs. If I can get ten people to sign up for FREE accounts and edit using it for a bit, they will give me a free one-year premium license, and if I get twenty people, that's a lifetime license. I do plan to pay for the premium (likely lifetime), but I wanna try and save costs at this moment, esp since the income coming from translating is not good at the moment, and I'm still running on savings.

So I am now asking that you help me out by signing up and using it for a bit (You will need to test out some text, otherwise the referral will not count. Just copy in maybe a long document and go through some of their edits.). Here is my referral link. https://prowritingaid.com/grammar-checker?rafid=moVYZ

You can also request for a free 2 week trial for the premium here: https://prowritingaid.com/en/App/RequestTrial

Here's a little incentive to help me out too, if you can prove that you have signed up (You can show me a screenshot on discord), I'll give you 500 Dragon Scales 🐉, which is equal to a one chapter patreon access for one month.
