“Of course I’m worried!” Mina asserted. “If she dies, I’ll be subject to morbid sarcastic remarks at her expense and my sanity from you two!”

“I resent that,” Pebbles appeared offended. “It’s not at her expense. It’s simply a coping mechanism.”

Mina realised he left something out. “What about the ‘my sanity’ part?”

Pebbles and Long Di quietly turned their attention from her and focused on the fight, and it was then Mina realised that the loss of her sanity was their coping mechanism.

A powerful pressure suddenly descended that bore down on everyone, compelling even Mina to focus her attention on the battle as well

It was a monstrous thing in both scale and nature. The infants were known to have their heads reach the clouds, while not even the adults’ tusks could be seen because of how big they were.

Not only that, they were known to go crazy randomly and charged across the continent, causing untold destruction!

The Grand Destruction Mad Elephant Sect took inspiration from the Ancient Ivory Crazy Mountain Crushing Elephant’s infamous charge to create the Ancient Ivory Crazy Mountain Elephant Rush.

This was why Xiannu Liang’s feat of stopping the attack engendered such surprise from everyone.

They all looked behind her and saw that her cauldrons were still running strong despite Ren Yanmei not easing up on her cauldronic suppression.

Of course, the only reason she was able to keep them operational despite the disparity in quality was due to her regularly being the unintentional collateral damage of Long Di’s cauldronic pressure. Not to mention, she underwent the tempering of Long Di’s Heavenly Execution.

The wall blasted apart under the force, and Ren Yanmei looked at Xiannu Liang with widened eyes.

A mouthful of blood drowned out what she was about to say. Her eyes eventually lost their light and her life was snuffed out.
