Wei Yun looked up with widened eyes as her lips trembled from a chill that had nothing to do with the Divine Daughter beside her.

“W-What is this?”

****

Krrrsh!

Dum!

White lightning arced all over Long Di’s body as nine cauldrons, black and crystalline erupted behind him. Mysterious and intricate patterns covered every one of them further buttressing their ineffability.

All nine were laden with undyed cores that flashed with unprecedented spirituality. They were like crystal lakes with a sacred light swimming within.

Five of the cores, however, were different, far different. Those cores were white and ivory lightning curiously crackled within and without them.

The bolts crawled all over their respective cauldrons like snakes. They paraded the grooves of the patterns and lashed out at irregular intervals!

A voice backed crackling with that same energy then echoed out like the thunder these bolts birthed.

“Screw The Heavens I’m A Chad Canonical Testament, activated!”

Vvveeeeeee!!

The cauldrons' rotation speed quickened as they flew in profound arcs behind Long Di. They never repeated the same pattern as if they emulated the vastness of the Heavens in their infinite and eternal orbit.

Before long, a mass of clouds appeared that covered up the cauldrons. They then split in two, creating a passage of sorts where myriad Divine Ivoric Calamity Tribulation Lightning crackled endlessly.

It was like a gauntlet walkable only by those decreed by the heavens, by those absent of the fear of that same decreer.

The clouds billowed with lightning as the cauldrons churned them about. Long Di’s manifestation inspired fear and awe in all those who witnessed it.

Violet Flame Noble was now sure, he was one hundred percent that if he followed Long Di, it would be the fortune of a lifetime!

Likewise, Heavenly Sun Noble was blown away. Long Di’s apparent cultivation base toppled her understanding of what was achievable in a certain amount of time.

Mad Sword Haoran found himself unable to keep his composure and his fiancée Jingyi Yu was the same. Mad Sword Haoran had the utmost confidence in Heavenly Sun Noble, but this—this was perverted!

The experts of the younger generation were all dumbfounded at Long Di’s power.

Sect Master Huang Jianyu stared wide-eyed at Long Di as the latter’s full power was in eruption.

What was this child!?

“Y-You’re a Five Star Core Martial Master!? Impossible!”

Long Di then raised his hand and responded calmly. “It is possible.”

“Impossible!” Sect Master refused to believe what he was seeing.

“I don’t know what to tell ya,” Long Di replied. “Me and ‘Possible,’ we go way back. We’re like best friends. When I was a Four Star Core Martial Master, I was like, ‘hey bro, can you do me a solid?’ And he was like, ‘yeah bro, I got you.’ And then I was all like, ‘need to be a Five Star Core Martial Master,’ and then he was all, ‘No prob, but I got a bully named ‘Im’ who’s a jerk and he makes it hard on me.” Do you get it? Im and Possible? Anyway, I was all, ‘Say less.’ So I got a butt plug and then I–”

“Enough!” Sect Master Huang Jianyu knew that Long Di was messing with him.

None of this made any sense!

In addition, there was something terrifyingly familiar about the nature of Long Di’s lightning. But that made less sense than anything so far and that bar was high!

What power was he from!?

“Are you ready?” Long Di pointed his sabre at Huang Jianyu, prompting the latter to ready himself.

Dum!

The Sect Master hurriedly summoned his cauldrons in response only for a crackle of lightning to thunder about.

His head snapped up to see a sabre slash composed of divine lightning flying towards him!

Shu!

He executed a flurry of hand signs to summon a golden lion-emblazoned shield to appear in front of him.

Bam!

The slash crashed into the shield, releasing a shockwave that rocked the surroundings. Sect Master Huang Jianyu was shocked to see cracks appearing on the shield!

‘H-How is this possible!? I-Isn’t he a Five Star Core Martial Master!? How is his attack so strong!?’

He couldn’t think about this too long though as an explosion drew his attention, and he saw Long Di descending with his sabre in an overhead slash.

Lightning spewed from the blade, detonating the air around it to no end!

The Sect Master gritted his teeth and pulled out a weapon of his own. It was a crescent moon spade and based on its spiritual fluctuations; it was clearly at the medium grade of the mortal rank. He felt envy at Long Di’s weapon in comparison.

This was one of the problems he had. Even though he had a spiritual artefact, it was something ill-suited for someone of his power.

Shing!

He wheeled it around as a golden light shone from the spaded end in blinding intensity.

He brought it up for a slash at a bizarre angle that bypassed Long Di’s slash and came around at his neck. Its longer reach providing him greater versatility with which to wield his weapon.

Long Di was shocked at his mastery of the weapon, but composed his thoughts in an instant and thinking of a move, he still brought his sabre down all the same to land his attack.

“Die!”

Sect Master Huang Jianyu sneered at this and drove his attack home!

Krrrsh!

Out of nowhere, a lightning spear materialised before the Sect Master’s attack could reach him and the crescent moon spade crashed into it before it disappeared into crackling motes of light that drew mini-arcs in the air.

“What the–”

It slowed down his attack enough to switch whose attack was going to land first.

Before anything else registered, the slash came, carrying that same level of power.

The Sect Master, being much faster than Long Di, twisted his body at the last second, allowing just the tip of the sabre to tear through his torso as flickering lightning followed unceasingly.

The bolts lit up his face as the pain registered across it.

“Aargh!” He bellowed in pain as his body bucked before he forced himself further back.

Shu!

He escaped from Long Di’s range with a paled and shocked expression. Blood ran down his chest and he ran his spiritual essence to heal his wounds but the energy in the strike contested this into futility.

“It’s not healing!” Huang Jianyu discovered with harrowing realisation. His hand came up to it in a futile attempt to staunch the blood flow.

He felt the destructive energy of the lightning… and something else.

Shu!

He felt the wind change and saw Long Di charging towards him and as a result; he backed off from him.

The earlier blows buffeted his confidence, which was nought but a candle in the wind by now. Nearly gone out under Long Di’s relentless attacks.

Everyone only saw two blurs moving at lightning-fast speed all over the battlefield.

“He’s a monster!” Heavenly Sun Noble commented.

“Master, can you explain what’s happening?” Mad Sword Haoran asked Heavenly Sun Noble. He and Black Fortress weren’t strong enough to keep up with the fight like her.

“Brother Long Di is actually forcing Sect Master Huang Jianyu to flee,” Violet Flame Noble answered in awe.

“Sect Master Huang Jianyu’s defences are crumbling in front of Long Di’s attacks,” she said as her head moved in an attempt to keep track of the fight and missing much of it all the same.

Jingyi Yu’s eyes flittered all over before she asked. “Why is the Sect Master not–”

“Sect Master, just land one attack!” Grand Elder Jin Ya yelled when he noticed that Huang Jianyu was only running and not attacking.

When Huang Jianyu heard this reminder, it suddenly dawned on him that he hadn’t really tried to attack Long Di at all. He was mostly on the receiving end.

He was so shocked and surprised by everything that Long Di just revealed to him that he was mentally suppressed by the latter and didn’t even realise it!

It was further reinforced by Long Di’s relentless attacks. That disallowed him to regain his bearings and come to grasp with things like, oh say his superior cultivation base!

Boom!

Sect Master Huang Jianyu’s fusion cauldron burned, and he rose into the air. Powerful spiritual fluctuations wafted from him in unending waves.

Long Di looked above and saw the Sect Master looking down on him arrogantly. His face was red with embarrassment when he realised he was just made to flee by someone an entire realm below him.

Not only that, he had to fly to escape. He looked and saw many of the young geniuses looking at him, and that shame burned ever hotter.

“You just realised you could fly didn’t you?” Long Di said as he hefted the Thunder Dragon Rhino Sabre on his shoulder.

“Shut up!” Huang Jianyu barked. His cauldrons suddenly sped up in their rotation and moved in a dizzying fashion before a familiar fluctuation spread out.

“Blow of the Fifteen Crazy Lions!”

“Raaaargh!”

A deafening roar rang out as fifteen crazy lions manifested around Huang Jianyu.

They all thrashed around widely and they possessed, all of them, a crazy rage!

Every fur, every vein and muscle could clearly be seen and the roars they released into the high heavens instantly let Long Di know that these lions were far more powerful than what Xiong Weizhe made.

It was almost like they were alive and Long Di came to know another one of the benefits of a higher cultivation base firsthand.

Facing off against those lions roaring at him from above, Long Di stood there fearless. “Okay, how about we all sit down and talk about this? I think things have gotten too far if we’re just lunging lions at each other.”

“Kill!” Huang Jianyu roared like his lions before launching them at Long Di.

Their massive paws thundered against an invisible ground as they charged at Long Di to rip him to shreds!

Their eyes were red, and they appeared mad with rage as they closed in on him.

“Look out!” Violet Flame Noble shuddered when he felt the power of this move.

Vrrm!

The spear image in his mind sea kicked up waves as it shuddered madly!

Krrrsh! Krrrsh! Krrrsh! Krrrsh! Krrrsh!

All around Long Di appeared an army of white lightning spears. They covered the field and everyone, the Sect Master included, was gobsmacked at the sheer number.

Not only that, each of these spears was strong, frighteningly so! They induced a sense of despair against any who faced off against them.

‘These things have gotten stronger,’ Long Di thought to himself. ‘They feel even stronger somehow than this old guy’s attacks. It seems the grade of my martial technique has gone up again. Neat.’

Without further ado, Long Di fired off every one of his spears against Huang Jianyu’s lions!

A staggering explosion rang out at the point of impact. The ground and all else shook as lion after lion fell to the spears!

They tried to swat at them to get to Long Di, but none of them could stand up to the lethal power of the spears.

They were all condensed to the limit by Long Di’s spiritual force, which was the rule imposed through the spear in his mind sea. Only that, it was far stronger than it used to be. This was attributed to the Divine Ivoric Calamity Tribulation Lightning. It made the destructive ability of these spears reach unbelievable heights.

Huang Jianyu stood there in the sky as the spears took down his attack and before he could react, a swarm of spears appeared before him.

He quickly summoned the same lion-emblazoned shield as before, but it only lasted a second before it was blasted to bits and the spears ran through him!
