When he saw the number, he nearly choked on his own shock.
“Ninety-Nine Tempers? Really?”

“I’ll continue this later.”
Yeah, Long Di wasn’t going to tackle that one right now. He was all for effort and everything, but he could only begin to imagine the difficulty that lay in trying to get to the first of those ninety-nine tempers.
Plus, he had been gone for two weeks now.
“Alright, time to get back. I hope that everyone doesn’t get too mad at having to wait for so long.”
He collected his storage rings, put on his clothes, collected the forge and turned around to set off when a thought-provoking scene revealed itself to him.
He then commented. “I should be happy that eco-terrorists aren’t a thing here. They’d probably bludgeon me with a block of tofu if they saw this.”
All around Long Di for miles in either direction, steam could be seen rising from the ground in plumes, whilst the earth itself released a dim red glow.
The ground directly under the forge itself was even more so releasing this light. The faint glow of the lava was a testament to the heat the forge generated.
Long Di looked to the left, then to the side, and whilst failing to whistle nonchalantly began walking off like this had nothing to do with him. As far as he was concerned, this was the forge’s fault.
An argument could be made for who was the forge’s fault, but that didn’t have to be thought about… right?
Well, he might very well entertain the conversation. It just might not go the way that any would-be eco-terrorist would want. After all, Long Di was well known to invoke madness… then again for eco-terrorists… that would be redundant.
It wasn’t too long before he arrived where he left Shen Ling and the others. Upon looking inside, however, he could only spot Shen Ling and Xiannu Liang there.
However, seeing was relative here as he couldn’t really see Shen Ling. Instead, the only thing he could see was a mist or cloud of darkness in the carriage's corner. But past events led him to know that this was Shen Ling, no doubt cultivating the Abyss
