After returning home from supper, Xu Chuanchuan took another shower to get rid of the smell of barbecue.

Murong Shi spoke very little tonight, and Xu Chuanchuan worried that she had angered the other party. And because of her anxiety, she didn't write a single word for her book even though she planned to do so after returning to the room.

The two women next door were still hosting their respective live streams. However, the noise became more bearable after shutting the balcony door. In contrast, the sound of the hairdryer running as Xu Chuanchuan absentmindedly dried her hair was much noisier.

Suddenly, someone snatched the hairdryer out of Xu Chuanchuan's hand. When Xu Chuanchuan looked up and saw Murong Shi, she smiled and said, "That's fast of you."

"Mhm," Murong Shi lightly responded before using the hairdryer to dry her hair.

Neither of them spoke for a time, and an awkward atmosphere ensued.

When Murong Shi put down the hairdryer and gently combed her hair with her fingers, Xu Chuanchuan finally stopped hesitating and said, "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" Murong Shi asked with a casual expression.

Biting her lower lip, Xu Chuanchuan said, "I shouldn't have run away when you were going to dance for me. It was incredibly rude of me to do so."

Murong Shi's lips curled slightly, barely forming a smile as she said, "It's fine. Actually, I lied. I don't know how to dance at all."

Then why did you start stripping… Xu Chuanchuan thought, though she dared not bring up this topic.

Then, Murong Shi continued, "If you mind it, I can go sleep with Fang Qin tonight."

Xu Chuanchuan's heart thumped at Murong Shi's words. Then, she asked, "Why are you going to sleep with Fang Qin?"

Murong Shi gently caressed Xu Chuanchuan's cheek with the back of her hand. Then, she said, "I worry that you dare not go to sleep with me beside you."

"Why would you think that? We've slept together several times already," Xu Chuanchuan said with a stunned look on her face.
