"Next, let's go to the second floor to investigate," Decan said to the group. They were currently at the end of the first-floor hallway. The keys to rooms 103 to 105 were all missing.

Fighting the werewolf here wasn't a good choice. Leading the enemy to the second floor before engaging in combat was undoubtedly the safest option. Upstairs, they had a natural geographical advantage – they could both attack and defend. Even if something unexpected occurred, Decan and Cornelia could retreat to their rooms.

Their Plan A was to reach the second floor and have Cornelia approach the other four. Once Dekan summoned the "Ruined Poet" out of sight of the four girls, Cornelia would notice whose expression changed the most and go straight to her, giving her a blow with her hammer.

This greatly tested Cornelia's reaction speed.

Cornelia needed to strike down the enemy before they transformed into the werewolf. Things would get more complicated for Dekan and Cornelia once the werewolf activates “Berserk.”

However, even if they couldn't win at that time, they could hide in the second-floor rooms, escaping the dangers.

After hiding for ten minutes, it would be their one-sided torture against the werewolf.

Dekan turned and prepared to head towards the second-floor stairs.

Since the beginning, Cornelia had naturally reduced the distance between herself and the other four according to the plan. She also unknowingly kept a certain distance from Dekan.

Her expression became somewhat sinister as she stared at Dekan, fearing any action from him. She knew Dekan was an extremely dangerous individual.
