"Huh, why do I completely feel no hint of a love letter in this letter..." Croix pondered for a moment, dragging his chin. He looked puzzled.

"Croix, you really don't understand girls' minds. Ah, I don't know when you'll be able to settle down with your childhood sweetheart." Teacher Cat, with a helpless wave of its front paw, sighed.

"How could I and Claire..." Croix stopped midway, his brow furrowing deeper.

He remembered that Dekan had said something similar before, and now even Teacher Cat was saying the same thing. Could it be that his childhood friend Claire really didn't dislike him that much? But liking him would be too far-fetched.

"Wait a minute, I really can't see any ambiguity in this letter. Clearly, Ice Princess's wording are very precise..." Croix thought for a moment, but then circled the conversation back to the original question.

"You're such a fool, meow! When I say this letter has a bit of a love letter vibe, I don't mean there's anything wrong with the words! It's the literal 'vibe' of it! Smell this letter!" Teacher Cat explained.

"Ah, so that's it." Croix felt that as a human, there was still some sort of generational, no, racial gap between him and Teacher Cat.

He picked up the letter from the still frozen Cornelia and carefully examined it. It was a letter written on antique-style paper, carefully written with fresh ink, each stroke seeming to take a long time. Both the wax on the envelope and the seal were as neat and clean as works of art. It was evident that a lot of care had been put into it.

"But this doesn't prove anything. What if Ice Princess is equally serious about writing to anyone?"

"Meow meow, then why didn't she write to you? You saved her life, didn't you?"

"..." Croix scratched his head, seemingly convinced by Teacher Cat's words.

"Wait, if this letter really has that kind of meaning, is it appropriate for us to pass it around like this?" Croix asked as he handed the letter back to Dekan.

Dekan had been daydreaming since earlier.
