PHA - Chapter 316 - It’s All a Misunderstanding

The combination of blinding light and a tremendous amount of mana instantly caused Mador to think of one person. This person was naturally the enemy of the demon race—the Hero.

The proliferation of the human realm's Hero novels in the demon realm in recent times allowed many demons to learn more about the culture surrounding the Hero. Some young demons have even made reading Hero novels into a hobby.

However, most demons still couldn't bring themselves to like the Hero. After all, the Hero was the existence standing in the demons' way from acquiring a better living environment. Even though they knew that reason wasn't on their side, nobody would care about that when the problem involved their living environment.

Although Alice's appearance was completely different from the Hero's appearance shared on the internet, there was no way to fake this tremendous amount of light mana. So, Mador guessed that Alice must have used some method to falsify her appearance into that of a muscular man with a beautiful face.

Mador's body began to tremble when she guessed Alice might be the Hero. She wouldn't have been so afraid if she had merely learned that Alice was the Hero. However, the problem was that this "Hero" knew about her identity as a demon. This was a severe problem.

If a demon spy working undercover in a human kingdom got discovered by the Hero, Mador didn't even dare to imagine what would happen. Although Heroes historically had good reputations and were people with clean souls chosen by God, the problem was that this reputation was relative.

For the humans that were receiving the Hero's protection, they would naturally view the Hero as a perfect and excellent existence. However, it was a different story for the demons. Although the Hero wouldn't slaughter innocent demons, the Hero would never show mercy toward demons that would threaten the human realm's peace.
