"I've brought the item you asked us to find, Lady Alice."

One early morning, Alice received a visit from Catherine in her dormitory, the latter holding a box protected by several magic locks.

It had been several days since Alice had returned from the demon realm, and only a week was left until the comic convention in the Rhine Kingdom began. Aside from preparing for her trip, Alice had nothing better to do during this period. So, to not waste time, she decided to use her authority as the Hero.

Specifically, Alice had Catherine, the Royal Guard Captain, visit one of the locations she marked previously and retrieve the object that carried a trace of the Demon King's Power's aura. As this object was situated within the Gryffin Kingdom's borders, Catherine should be able to retrieve it without causing a commotion as Alice did in Bang Bang City.

Alice hurriedly got out of bed. She initially thought it would take over a month for Catherine and her people, who couldn't sense the Demon King's Power, to locate the target object. She wouldn't even be surprised if they failed to find it. What she didn't expect was for them to find it in only a few days.

"It is our duty to assist the Hero. You are our only hope against the Demon King, after all," Catherine said, strict as always. She dared not overstep her boundaries when it came to dealing with Alice. "But this item... How should I say it... I'm not exactly sure if it's the item you are looking for.
