After all, the incident involved nearly 300 people getting knocked unconscious and the depletion of mana in the castle's surrounding area. It was natural that this matter would cause a huge commotion in the demon realm.

Meanwhile, the various media outlets quickly turned to speculate that this incident was either the Demon King's deliberate doing or the outcome of a failed experiment conducted by the Demon King. There were also other speculations, but most of them had something to do with the Demon King one way or another.

The demon realm's mass media are quite good at making guesses.

Alice was a little surprised that the demon realm's mass media would assume that the Demon King was related to this incident. However, when she thought about it from a different perspective, she felt that these media outlets would probably make similar speculations to garner attention even if the Demon King wasn't actually involved in the incident.

After all, ever since the "Demon King" had appeared several months ago, the only time this new Demon King had made a public appearance was during her confrontation with the Hero outside the Elven Forest. Since nobody knew the exact cause of the incident this time, the various media outlets would definitely try to drag the Demon King into this matter and ride the Demon King's wave of popularity.
